I’ve stayed in motel 6’s before and they’re usually pretty decent.this one was not
Pros:

Great location.

Cons:

No fridge in the room. No usb plugs. Pillows were really small. The pool water was cloudy. The hot tub didn’t work. The people were noisy. Next door had a tapping dog all night.

vending machine outside the room was loud when dispensing, also plumbing was quite loud when someone flushed or showered next door. Walls quite thin!

Not good!
Cons:

Hall carpets really needed att. Food and paper and crumbs on edges of carpet. Had not been done in days. The toilet in our room had not been properly cleaned ( black running down under the rim) , hair in the tub! Someone needs fired. 🤬

There was a marijuana odor in the lobby at check-in. Found a syringe in the shower. Bathroom air vent full of dust, stained towels and sheets.

Filthy hotel - didn’t stay
Pros:

We booked this hotel because the cost was affordable for our trip and we’ve stayed in motel 6’s in the past but never this location. I have never been in such a filthy run down motel in my life. Hair & dirt on the floors, toilet/sinks/bath tub/microwave were disgusting. The young man at the front desk was our only positive experience there. After getting into our room which was disgustingly dirty we complained & he offered to switch us to another room. We viewed 4 other rooms and they all were not suitable for human occupancy. I asked for a refund don’t these reasons and I was refunded fully.

The service from the young man at the desk that is all.

When traveling and you need a place to sleep, the Meridian was clean and affordable.
Pros:

Clean, quiet, and the staff was very welcoming.

Cons:

They didn’t have a walk-in shower. Very difficult for people with hip and knee problems.
