Our stay wasn't great, especially considering the cost per night
Pros:

The location was ok for our purposes. There are quite a few options for food across the street, only a few minutes walk away. The housekeeping made our bed most days that we were staying there

Cons:

The room was too hot without running the airconditioning all night during our stay in April, and running the airconditioning all night made the room dry, which made my partner's sore throat worse, and he is still recovering from the illness that resulted from that. The noise from Sandgate road made it hard to sleep at night even with the bathroom door closed. The soundproofing to the connected room is terrible, my partner was kept awake one night from 10:30pm to 1:30am by an inconsiderate guest in the next room who was talking and playing music. We also found a baby cockroach on the sheets of one of the beds when we came back to the room one night

Provided a wonderful, convenient and budget friendly one bedroom apartment with pool access.
Pros:

Great, large one bedroom apartment in quiet location off main road, having everything you need. Large Balcony with dining setting and sunlounges added bonus. Nice clean pool area, secured parking. Great restaurant onsite. Hertz & Thrifty car hire, coffee venue and fast food outlets all located within easy walking distance.

Cons:

While the apartment being located at the back of the property away from the main part of the motel ensured a quieter stay, it did create a bit of a distance to the pool area but still able to be accessed. Blinds in bedroom sit inside windowsill, allowing morning light to creep in which is early in QLD.
