Breakfast
I booked this hotel a while back for one night, when we got there and went to our room we immediately knew from the smell it would be terrible. The ENTIRE room was dirty. The bath tub. BOTH beds. The counters. The sink. ALL OF IT was disgusting. I went down and asked for a different room or for ours to be re cleaned. The staff member explained understanding (thankfully) and gave us the option of the one other room available. Same exact thing in the other room. This one had trash in the floor and in the closet from the previous people that were in it. We attended a concert, so we got back late our key card to open the door to get into the building was broken so we couldn’t get back in. Walked all around the hotel and found a side door that was cracked open. Got in that way and we checked at at 6:30 in the morning. Absolutely the worst stay in our lives. Completely disappointed for $210 for a single I night. I’ve attached pictures and I have SO many more of how BOTH rooms were just simply nasty.
Location
Staff member who checked me in was friendly
Evening staff member was also friendly and helpful
No hair dryer
No one at desk to check me out, note on desk said they would be right back helping another guest.
Light by bedding would not turn on
The hotel staff was friendly
Didn’t get the room I paid for. Was never provided hand towels or washcloths as told at checkin. The breakfast is terrible and shouldn’t even be advertised as “breakfast included.”
No continental breakfast available
When I stay at hotels, I stay at hotels that have breakfast as a option and the check-in person normally says what time breakfast hours are. I did not get that information, nor did I see where the breakfast location really was located at. I did see a small area that had coffee and some type of muffin, so I assumed that was the breakfast options. I wasn't interested in either choice, so I did not eat breakfast that the hotel.
I didn't like having to switch rooms three times before I was satisfied with my room. The first room was a strong cleaning solution smell. The second room had a oily wet film on the floor that didn't dry after 5 hours. The third room had a thin hard mattress that wasn't comfortable, but I ended up staying in that room because I didn't want to switch anymore. I also didn't like the kids running around in the check-in area, and a person sitting on the curb outside the hotel.
