Pros:

The room was beautiful, loved the blackout curtains. The room was spacious and the staff was really nice and kind to accommodate us even if we spoke little to no German! Location had a few nice local restaurants around and was close to interesting sightseeing spots!

Cons:

The only thing we didn't like was the pillows, they were a bit too mushy.

Top-Adresse in Altona!
Pros:

Das Design des Hotels ist außergewöhnlich gut gelungen - beeindruckt bereits mit den ersten Schritten in der riesigen Empfangshalle!

Der altwürdige Charme des Hauses, als ehemaliges Gaswerk, ist mit einem gemütlichen, modernen Einrichtungsstil gemixt. Man fühlt sich in dem Ambiente rund um wohl und einfach gut aufgehoben.

Besonderes Lob geht an das erstklassige Personal -> aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell 👍

Das hauseigene Restaurant „Mangold“ ist ebenfalls absolut empfehlenswert!

Das man bei so nem Preis und Hotel für die Sauna extra zahlen muss finde ich fast schon eine Unverschämtheit. Ich frage mich wie ein Hotel Management wegen den paar 100 Euro im Monat sowas entscheidend was bei Gästen wirklich für Kopfschütteln sorgt. Absolut miserabel

Wir waren zu einem Event in der Barclays Arena und würden bei unserem nächsten Besuch gerne wieder dieses Hotel buchen.
Pros:

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Wir durften vor der angegebenen Zeit unser Zimmer beziehen. Das Zimmer war sauber, leider aber auch sehr warm. Es gab nur einen Deckenventilator, keine Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Der Frühstücksraum ist leider sehr dunkel, wenn man nicht gerade direkt am Fenster sitzt. Hier würde ich mir eine bessere Beleuchtung wünschen. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor dem Hotel. Hier kommt man alle 10 Minuten ins Zentrum. Die S-Bahn ist fussläufig in ca 13 Minuten erreichbar. Wir haben zudem ein Uber genutzt. Das hat super geklappt.
Wir würden bei unserem nächsten Besuch gerne wieder in dieses Hotel kommen.

Pros:

I stayed at Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg during a business trip and had a very positive experience. The location is very convenient, with good access to the S-Bahn and Altona train station.
What I especially liked is that the hotel has its own personal touch. It does not feel like a standard network hotel, but rather like a place with character, atmosphere, and thoughtful design. Because of its size, layout, and design, it is suitable for many types of stays: a short one-night business trip, a longer stay, a vacation, or a conference.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices. One detail I particularly appreciated was having a pot of coffee directly on the table. It made breakfast much more relaxed, without the need to stand in line at a coffee machine.
