Breakfast was fine. Everything was fine. The only problem was the AC unit that was not functioning properly. The room cooled but there was a dampness that wouldn’t go away. I told the staff about it when we were leaving.

minimum towels, soap and other convenient items like a shower cap and such, I expected that other hotels in the past had furnished.

Hotel is old and run down. Front desk staff and was slow and rude. While we were checking in, they’ll two women at the front desk were gossiping about the women who had checked in ahead of us and said that they must be in town for the “Karen Convention.” Very unprofessional. We booked for two nights but ended up only staying one and booking at the Double Tree in Newark for the second night, which was exponentially nicer.

Quick and easy check in! Even managed to accommodate an early checkin! Would definitely book again!

The foyer area was dirty along with the carpets. The hair dryer didn’t work, which I had planned on using. The tv didn’t work. The comforter was stained with something dark, like blood or chocolate. It was gross. I would never stay here again. I was offered an “I’m sorry”. That’s it. I would never stay here again.

The staff was very kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible, however; the property is riddled in mold and many rooms smell like smoke as well. Staying here made me sick and I’m still recovering nearly a month later.

I visit family in the area so this is my 3rd or 4th time staying here and it gets worse every time, so there probably won't be a next time. But the parking lot was filled with people drinking and smoking. There was a weird smell in building and in all the halls. And the elevator kept breaking down the whole day. Used to be a much nicer place to stay. Definitely not worth the money.

The room was clean and in good working order. The only thing was a weak and slow stream of water from the bathroom faucet.

Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs. I got bit bed bugs so bad my arm was swollen up for 3 days, and all they did was move me to another room across the hall. Was there for 3 nights and had to chose but to stay there, but i will never go back to the hotel.

Greeted kindly with an expeditious check-in into a clean, well kept Hotel with spacious room neat as a pin. Bed was firm and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and well watched over by a dedicated staff member. I definitely would stay here again! This is a model for the Choice Hotels brand.

Only brought new towels daily and empty trash bags for us to gather our own trash. No bed linens were changed. Marijuana smell was really bad the first night not better remainder of stay.

Great front desk staff! The hotel was a little dated but it was sufficient for one night!

The location was great. It was quiet. Room was clean. The check in staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was just so-so.

Rooms are always comfortable & clean

The staff was wonderful. The room was old and the bathroom was a bit dingy. But the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Unfortunately, my family and I had a horrible stay at this run down hotel. As you entered, it smelled like roach spray literally giving meaning to “roach motel”. Our room was located next to the kitchen prep room and each morning banging sounds woke us up out of our sleep. The shower/tub was extremely slippery. The towels were rough and dingy. The pillows were soft like marshmallows. The floor lamp didn’t work, which made the room very dim. The dirty vent shown in the photos was in the bathroom. My daughter and I both suffers from allergies and our allergies were triggered all weekend with sneezing, coughing, sniffles, and a wet, moist nose. Before we checked in I called the front desk and requested a filter change. We were told it would be taken care of. I don’t know if it was taken care of as promised. Something in the room triggered a flare up. When we returned to our room Saturday evening from our family events we were met with an infestation of gnats. During today’s check-out I reported the gnats. The front desk clerk said confidently that the gnats were likely coming through the drain. As if this known and reoccurring issue which clearly has not been solved. A non-guest of the hotel was seen outside on the bench rolling what appeared to be drugs. The non-guest was also seen harassing a group of girls who were trying to enter.

The room itself didn’t seem like it was clean enough.
