Very good location and service

Customer service was horrible!!!!!
I booked king size bed, they provided me a small very small bed…… they told me they don’t have any available rooms with king size bed . I told them I paid extra money for this, they told me sorry, just cancel this reservation if you want…… but unfortunately i was unable to do that:( and room key was not working properly…..

Exceptionally bad. I was charged for previous guest’s stay! Though room was prepaid. Stuffy rooms with windows that don’t open. Rude, overwhelmed receptionist Average breakfast,no gym facilities. Check in was easy, but everything else sucked.

Carpets in the room were very dirty and had obvious stain marks and need to be replaced. The hotel is in a great location, but the reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. The hotel was functional and efficient but again not very welcoming. Very soviet feel to it.

I booked a regular room, but for some reason, they upgraded me to a full suite with the living room bedroom, even its own private sauna. The breakfast was very good and close to any tourist attractions.

A really good and smart place to stay in Chisinau.

Centrally located and easily accessible. Rooms are comfy and cleaned on time. Only downside was the buffet breakfast selection which was quite terrible - on one day there were even greasy chicken wings that looked like leftovers from the previous night! - and not representative of the great Moldovan food that is around.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of the city. Great value for money. Nice breakfast.

Good place to stay if you are visiting Moldova capital

Place in the centre of the city hotel provides the best opportunities to explore area by walk only.

A old fashioned Soviet hotel that seems you are in a ghost movie. Breakfast terrible. But the worst part is THE STAFF. Recepcionists are RUDE and ARROGANT. Not even a smile. They never know NOTHING asked. They do NOT HELP IN ANYTHING. ZERO TO THIS HOTEL. Never more.

It was nice to stay at the hotel. People were very nice. Room was clean.

Quiet, clean and laid back. Excellent location adjoining parks and a short stroll to the city center. Friendly front desk staff.

Ausgesprochen sehr gute Lage im Stadtzentrum.
Moderne und saubere Zimmer sowie des gesamten Hauses.
Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, inkl. starken Kaffee. Es gab aber nur einen Kaffee-Automaten für alle Gäste. Und das waren auch viele Seminarteilnehmer, die dann auch noch den Frühstücksraum einfach mit Nutzten. Da wurde es eng und fast chaotisch, im Urlaub!

It is my pleasure to say that hotel is give you excellent service and good time to be in it. Hotel situated in walking distance from mains street and two gorgeous parks.

Jolly Alon supposed to have 4 stars, but it is an old somehow refurbished communist hotel. I arrived late and found out that there were big ugly and dirty spots on the floor. I called the reception and asked to change the room. The young lady receptionist initially refused this. I made photos and went down and said that if the room would not be changed, that I will call booking.com and change the hotel. Then suddenly tye receptionist found another room. No apologies, nothing.

Later the evening I came late from meetings and I asked to this same lady if there is a small bottle of water. She told me she can't give me and I should go to the bar. I talked to the guard and explained that after all these trouble, she can't give me a small bottle of water. He gave me one.

Yesterday evening I asked the receptionist (the same lady) if she could asked to call a taxi for 7am to the airport. Later I called her from my room to have a wake up call at 6h15. She asked me at 7? I answered: no at 06h15 because at 07h00 I need to leave.

No wake-up call and I overslept a bit. I went down 07h05 and I asked her why I did not receive the wakeup call. She told me that she thought I only needed a taxi at 07h00. I repeated what I said on the phone. I asked her where is the taxi. And she said that she cancelled this because I was nor down at 07h00. I am still wondering why she then did not call the room....

I asked her to call another taxi. She told me that the taxi will come in a few minutes. The taxi did not come and I waited for 10 minutes. I went inside and the lady receptionist was gone. After waiting a while I asked the guard to call a taxi. He referred to the receptionist (who was not there) but finally he called another taxi that came.

I noticed that the guards are better, more friendly and understanding than this lady receptionist who serves in the evening. The second room was cleaner but I definitely would not give this hotel four stars. Maybe 3 or even 2. Better to pay a bit more and to stay in a nicer hotel.

I always give hotels a possibility to recompensate their bad services, but from this hotel I did not even get an apology. I only got an apology of the lady when she did not give a wake up call but only I asked her about it

Exellent hotel with very good position in the center if the city and close to park. Staff is frendly and helpfull. Food is good and healthy.
