Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Oxford, an IHG Hotel

Check in person was nice. Elevator didn't seem to be functioning properly. No signs of thr last time it was inspected. Hallways were dirty. Hotel needs a deep clean. Room was beat up-bathroom walls, cabinets, walls-all beat up. Cable TV didn't work, and A/C didn't cool properly. There was mismatched furniture and what appeared to be sawdust inside the furniture pieces. My husband is a Platinum Elite member and stays in lots of Holiday Inn hotels. This was not in line with the quality and cleanliness of others.

We stayed January 7, 2025.
The bed was VERY comfortable and we got to sleep easily, but got woke up at 4:00am to smoke detectors going off, there was no fire anywhere and it was hard to get back to sleep. There was no coffee pot in our room, the phone in our room didn't work, breakfast was lukewarm and they didn't have the omelets and turkey sausage that was advertised on their site. There was water dripping from the ceiling in the kitchen and a ladder there with ceiling junk all over the floor that we watched while we were eating. Front desk staff was very nice so that was the plus. Probably won't stay at this location again- have had better experiences at other Holiday Inns.

Dated, needs redo

Property was very nice.

Our room smelled and was not the cleanest. It had stuff in toilet ring and pubic hair on the shower wall. Our pull out sofa had urine stain on it and our matress on the king bed was not comfortable.

Everything was wonderful. No negatives at all.

Has a great experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Oxford.

Needs renovation

Very comfortable bed! The tub had hair in it and needs to be replace. Good breakfast though!

The staff is exceptional, but the condition of the hotel is awful. It is in desperate need of a refurbishment. Restrooms off the lobby had broken locks, toilet lids do not fit the toilets, guest rooms are dilapidated.

Nice clean bed

Room was not the cleanest and bright parking lot lights were shining in my window without any options to draw curtains or blinds.

Four night stay at Christmas-time. Very few guests. Tisha, at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Nice room - comfortable bed, good flow of hot water in the bathroom, clean, and elevator worked fine. Nice breakfast, typical of similar Holiday Inn Express elsewhere. Good location — everything was 5-10 minutes away from where we went while in the area.

Always appreciate it when my Diamond Elite status is acknowledged.

Our room smelled terrible the carpet was filthy bathtub was stained

The room was damp , tub not clean, previous guest hair accessory under bed… hit the overall damp / humid feeling of the room even with air conditioner running was the worst

The stay was fine, but little things provided annoyances here and there. I initially was assigned a room with a sink that drained slowly. In the next room, the desk chair had cracked vinyl on the arms, and the bathtub's slip-resistant coating showed significant wear. The bathroom vanity seemed a few inches too low, and no outlet was within range of the desk without using an extension cord. But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the adjustable shower head provided a solid stream. The breakfast area was well-stocked, and staff kept the area and tables clean throughout the morning.

The front desk rep Joel was super friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and we loved the variety of pillows! Breakfast was great and the attendant was hard at work every time we had breakfast. The bathroom was not as clean as it could be that was our only "issue".

The staff was very helpful and the room was very quiet. Everything was great!
