Absolutely woeful.
Pros:

This hotel was absolutely nothing like it was portrayed in images and photos on a website. Almost impossible to locate there were no staff at any time check-in was challenging and done from the front door before we were even allowed inside at 5:40 pm. We were made to stand in the cold and rain. Well we had to follow an online process. We had zero phone service and run out of phone battery because we’ve been travelling.

The room was disgraceful no cutlery crockery no cold water no additional blanket. Someone want to cal. I have stayed in plenty of properties that are boutique and historic and cleanliness is not the issue. The issue is the amenities. The state of the room. The bathroom had chipped tiles peeling paint one door knob on a bathroom cabinet., air-conditioning I don’t think has been cleaned in years. For two women travelling on their own it did not feel safe. It did not feel comfortable.


I will never recommend this and never say that I saving room 55 my colleagues stayed in room 56

Central and cozy stay, but the cleaning service and appliance maintenance need improvement.

The kindness of the staff

Cons:

During after-hours reception, there was an on-call staff member available by phone; however, no one was able to attend the property in person to resolve the air conditioning/heating issue. As a result, we had to spend our first night without heating during the winter season. The following day, the staff provided us with two vouchers for the bar as compensation for the inconvenience. We were later informed that the issue was caused by the central switch.

Pros:

CBD location was great at the price point.

Cons:

Because listed status of building, some of the finishes (skirts, cills etc) looked like they could do with some maintenance.
Furniture in room also dated

Bad experience.
Pros:

Did not like anything. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Cons:

The pictures and their rooms do not match at all. They mentioned they had room service but when we asked for it they said they dont have it. The staff were rude after hours. The place was so difficult to find. There were no clear instructions on how to get there. The room was really small and what pictures they showed for the standard king room did not match the room, very small and did not like the room at all. Would never book this hotel again.

Pros:

Location was nice, a lot of options for Shopping and Convenience stores, and plenty of parking was available in Wilson Parking at no cost.

Cons:

It was a little noisy on the road from 10 pm to 1 am; it was the weekend, so understandable. A microwave and bathroom Mats could have made it 10/10 for us (4 adults).

And got charged for an unnecessary deposit, too.
