Lovely accomodation with amazing staff
Would not recommend this hotel, whilst the location is convenient if travelling via train and for the cathedral, the hotel is very dated! So dated, there is no wifi and even photo data seems to have a black spot there.
The hallways smelt of smoke.
The photos of the property certainly seem like they are from a distant past.
The bathroom sink was dirty from the previous guest.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Lindner. The hotel has an excellent location, close enough to the cathedral without the noise.

Short walk to the cathedral with no cafes on the block, so very quiet. Large room with great shower and comfortable bed
We liked the spacious room and walkable location. Earlier check-in and later check-out was possible and highly appreciated! Breakfast could be better, we missed vegetables and better fruit options. On the positive note, you could pack a snack with you and the breakfast staff was super nice. The hotel could use an update of furniture - in rooms as well as in the restaurant. It is quite old. Also it says that rooms with balcony have view over the old town, but in reality there is a huge construction site in front of the hotel so there is no view. all in all good.
It was very quiet and the staff was friendly.
I was in the last room at thr end of thr corridor and internet connection was so low that I actually couldn't connect.
Other than that, all was great.
