I stay in this area everytime I visit London, would stay again!
Pros:

Love the location, rooms are clean and modern, beautiful garden outside. Quiet street

Cons:

Staff can smile more. Alittle expensive but it is London. Location has separate building for reception which can get annoying.

Pros:

Tolle zentral gelegene und supersaubere Unterkunft mit hervorragendem Service! Nachdem ich bei einer Wandertour meine Knie überstrapaziert hatte, bekam ich ein Zimmer in den unteren Etagen zugewiesen! Ganz herzlichen Dank dafür!

Cons:

Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl, dafür aber viel Flair.

Cute, cozy, nicely located hotel
Pros:

Compared to other 2 star hotels I've stayed at, Kensington Gardens Hotel really was fantastic. Daily hauskeeping was not excpected, therefore very appreciated. We were also brought an ironing board and an iron upon request which we very happy about. The bathroom was clearly recently modernised and looked great and clean! Staff was also always friendly. Very nice neighbourhood and quite well connected to important public transport lines.

Cons:

Room was very warm upon arrival - there is unfortunately no way to cool it down properly as there is no air conditioning and the windows cannot be opened very far (though that is often the same at other hotels in London). Leaving the windows open overnight helped a lot. The hotel also put a small ventilator on the room which also helped.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in perfect location with great public transport links close by. Plenty of food outlets, takeaways and restaurants, bars & a great pub just a couple of minutes walk away. Our room, although quite small, had enough storage space and a modern bathroom. Only downside was the stifling heat in the room, there was a fan, but we still struggled. It was a heatwave so not much can be done other than have a/c.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The area and location was great, close to Paddington and the Tube.

Cons:

It was a heatwave in London that weekend and the room was extreamly hot. Unfortenately not possible to open the window more than a couple of decimeters. An external fan was avaiable, and it helped a little but only very little. The water in the shower did not run out from the bottom. The bed was very narrow.

Habían telarañas en el techo y una araña. La moqueta sucia y la colcha también. Las piezas del baño se caían/rompían sólo de mirarlas. Sin nevera en la habitación, ni ascensor ni aire acondicionado.

Good location for overly hot
Pros:

Location for this property was excellent.

Cons:

There was no air conditioning in the room and it was a very hot day. The windows opened the smallest crack so there wasn’t any ventilation. The shower was probably the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel, the water sprayed out everywhere and would stay attached to the wall fixture so had to hold it.

Es war ok für eine Nacht aber ich würde nicht wieder dort übernachten.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem sehr schönen Stadtteil. Es hat viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, trotzdem ist es ruhig.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr warm, die Lüftung war zwar angestellt aber hat nicht viel gebracht. Die Matratze war sehr durchgelegen. Am Morgen um 9h hat eine Dame vom Hauskeeping laut an die Tür geklopft und gefragt ob sie sauber machen soll. Scheinbar wusste sie nicht dass wir abreisen. Diese Störung fand ich sehr unangenehm.

We felt mixed.
Pros:

Location. Great quiet neighborhood near restaurants and the Tube.

Cons:

The windows would only open a few inches and would not allow airflow on hot days. It was significantly cooler outside when it did not need to be that way.
