Hotel Nouvel

Hotel is centrally located. The lobby is very clean and the staff welcoming.
Our room wasn’t ready on arrival because we arrived a good few hours early. We were able to leave our bags and head out sight seeing.
Our room was on the top floor, spacious, clean and everything we needed.
The hot water pressure was very good.
Unfortunately the building opposite us decided to have a party until 6am! Completely not the fault of the hotel and nothing they could have done.
We didn’t eat in the hotel but the breakfast menu looked good.
Would stay here again as very central and a 2 minute walk from the shuttle drop off to the airport.

I stayed for 4 nights and really loved it, I booked a room with a balcony over looking the front of the hotel, amazing location being only 1 minute from the Ramblas, its a great location, street is quiet at night, beds are very comfy.
I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel on the last day as I had a few hours to kill, the hotel arranged my taxi, the staff could not have been any better.
The taxi can drop you at the front door, Hotel was very clean, the hotel itself is so cool with amazing period features. I will be staying again.

The room without A/C and smell is terrible and the front desk can’t help to change the room I tried to talk with front desk manager but no one available to help and the only help he offers you with extra blankets and small fan . I stayed 3 nights under this bad experience plus the sink drain is broken when we get to the room and the front desk telling us if the sink drains no problem and when we complain about bugs in the bed he telling us because we open the window. It’s the terrible experience at hotel I never get to this in my halls life. Plus the room is very small and noisy.

Beautiful old building, steps from La Rambla. Small, clean, no-frills rooms have hardwood floors, rustic furnishings, small single beds with soft pillowcases; safe, no mini fridge or coffee/tea things, modernized bathroom w/ toilet & bidet, shampoo/Q-tips/cotton pads. Large bottle complimentary water. Staff-arranged taxi to airport was expensive.

Arrived late night with family. Clerk seemed annoyed that we were there and was condescending during check in. Hotel room was clean - bathroom dated. Confirmed luggage storage for our check out date however that morning we were informed it was not available because they were “painting” that room. Staff did not offer secure alternative for any guests. We were advised we could “just leave our luggage in the side lobby” out in open without any security measures. Staff couldn’t have cared less. We were not the only guests upset with lack of secure storage and the attitude from staff. Al a Carte breakfast available for additional charge consisted of powdered eggs and mini hot dogs trying to pass for breakfast sausage. Overall staff acted like guests were a nuisance.

Hotel location is good . Next to placa de catalunya . Lively location , airport bus stop , city sightseeing bus stop near by . Lots of options for shopping .hotel is average experience , small standard rooms, clean washrooms. Hotel staffs are not that welcoming except the one who was there at night during check in . Expensive stay( value for money ) but Barcelona you don’t have much cheaper options .

The Old Charm of the Hotel & location was great. Convenient to shoppin, restaurants, and sites of downtown. Had a balcony room. Staff helped secure taxi for return to airport.

The location was excellent. I facilities are nice, but not large. Facilities are clean.

The room was larger than most and they accommodated our twin bed request. The balcony with chairs was an unexpected bonus! Housekeeping was exceptional.

Location was superb, close access to the city and all it had to offer, restaurants, shops etc 5 doors from the hotel
