Citadines Saint-Germain-des-Prés Paris

I booked this apartment hotel for 4 nights because we wanted an air conditioned hotel due to the summer heat in a good area with plenty of space for us and our 13 year old grandson. We also booked it because breakfast was included.

While my expectations were high, this hotel FAR exceeded our expectations. Our grandson had a huge private room which could have accommodated 2 adults easily. It had a kitchenette which we did not use. We had a private room with a comfortable bed and a closet with plenty of shelves and a safe. Both rooms had tvs.

The breakfast which was included in the price was so good! It included eggs, crepes, juices, coffee, lox, bread, pastries, fruit, cheeses, and more. There was a vending machine in the reception area which had sandwhiches, microwaveable meals and drinks. There was free water and coffee in the reception area. One very hot afternoon, the hotel staff served free ice cream cones. What a nice idea!!

Daily change of sheets was not included, but new towels were easily available on the reception level. The reception area was beautiful with an abundance of seating. What is really nice is that your room key is needed to enter the hotel as well as to use the elevators.

This hotel is in St. Germain, a great area in walking distance of Notre Dame, the Louve, and lively St. Michelle with many cafes and a metro stop. Unfortunately, the RER C is out of service now so it took longer to use other lines to get to the Eiffel Tower.

The staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend this hotel! Our room was about $550 a night, but it was well worth it.

The room was quite spacious and very well equipped including (unusually) a kitchenette. It was on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel and so it was very quiet, which we appreciated. Given the 36-degree heat, we very much appreciated the cooling fan. The staff were always friendly and courteous. We wanted to be close to Notre Dame and indeed we were only ten minutes' walk away. We also enjoyed being close to the many restaurants and good shops in St Germain des Pres.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights as a family of four. The lobby is very pretty and spacious. There was one very friendly and helpful receptionist. She was amazing. You have free coffee in the lobby and there is a water refill station. The rooms are like apartments. It was two bedrooms. One with a king size bed, and the other with a pullout sofa bed the room also had a kitchen. The hotel is located in walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was a beautiful location right in front of the canals. When we did a scene cruise we can actually see the hotel from the boat.

laundry service sounds unsatisfactory, what are dry cleaning costs or laundry for men's shirts? Also what app are you referring to for the laundry? We are spending a week in October after traveling two weeks. This is our 3rd stay at your hotel, we love it.

The location is in a great neighborhood Saint - Germaine - des - Pres, across the river from the Louvre and Norte Dame - multiple restaurants and shops / grocery are all within walking distance of the hotel. Perfect !
