Stayed during the snow storm to rest and wait it out. The team are friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean. Would definitely recommend for a pit stop
Coming home from an away day at the football. I didn’t have the energy to make it all the way home so decided to stop off here. The room cost £34 so was dreading what to expect.
The fella on reception was kind and jovial. I felt welcomed immediately and he couldn’t do enough to help.
When entering the ground floor room I couldn’t believe how big it was. The room and bathroom was spotless. The sheets were clean and smelt fresh. Clean mugs and coffee/tea making facilities along with clean towels. I’ve paid much more for much worse places and I would more than happily stay here again.
The only slight negative was that if you are traveling north bound you have to come back on yourself to get to the hotel and there is no access from the northbound entrance. Like wise on a morning I had to travel southbound to come back north. Added about 4 extra miles so nothing too bad. Just wanted to make people aware.
Stayed here recently and was checked in by a polite and friendly receptionist Siân room was clean and smelt fresh Was able to pick up a little snack from reception and there was plenty of car parking spaces. Bathroom clean and the shower was hot. There’s teas and coffees in the room which is ideal for no extra charge. Had to pay for parking but I understand if you book direct you don’t have too so that’s a little bit of information I’ll keep for when booking next time. At only a fiver per night that isnt a lot as some hotels charge more.
Stayed here from a festival in August. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Jacki welcomed me in like an old friend. We only used the hotel to rest heads and wash but was perfect for us.
If there were any ratings below zero, that's what this establishment would be worth! I don't recommend the rooms on the ground floor, it's not safe, they overlook a parking lot! There are no grilles on the windows and the curtains are very thin, you can hear the cars and all the noises from outside. Drunk customers who disturbed for hours by shouting, insulting, moving objects in the room above. The night porter couldn't do anything, he came up twice, and couldn't change my room. The hotel was full, the hotel is very poorly soundproofed, you can hear everything. But the worst thing is the state of the room (refuse 01), the carpet is stained, the baseboards are black, full of mold and fungus, and there are cobwebs everywhere. You sleep in a poorly cleaned room, walk on a moldy, stained, unsanitary carpet; it's disgusting and repulsive. It's impossible to sell a room in this state if you have a commercial conscience.
A comfortable, nice size room. Overall the room was fine the only point of improvement would be the bathroom suite was tired looking and was worn in places.
Nice grassed area outside to get the dog out while we stayed. (not enclosed/secure)
Also never had to pay additional parking when staying at a motorway hotel outside of the London area. Only £5 but an additional cost upon arrival. Although signage did suggest this was included if you booked direct with Days Inn.
Michelle, Tina, Jacky and Chris, were fantastic all weekend putting up with the team and myself whilst we ran an event in Sheffield.
Some of the friendliest hotel staff I've had the pleasure if dealing with, professional and extremely welcoming.
Will definitely be returning!
FANTASTIC STAFF!!
I stayed over the weekend to work with an event, and all the staff was incredible, friendly, helpful, fun and they put up with me and our drunken adventures fantastically :)
From Tina, one of my ex love interests I life, still as fantastic and as bubbly as I remember
Muchelle or Millissa ;) was incredible all round.
Jacky was a pleasure during the day with us coming in and out
And chris is a genuine bloke who makes the whole hotel feel secure and safe, especially with me sat with him behind reception 🤣
But all in all the hotel and staff was incredible, and I will make sure to return :)
The location on multiple map offerings is wrong and it is very poorly sign posted so you get directed to the wrong side of the motorway or all round the back roads
Good
Staff excellent. Got a good sleep. Bathroom had a good shower but needs updating, looked aged.
Travelling t’up north for a welcome break,
On the sunniest of Days inn for Rock n roll’s sake,
Surrounded by hills and one or two sheep
In the cosiest of beds I had the greatest sleep’
But the warmth and greeting we received at the start,
Warmed the cockles of this aging heart,
Channel was her name and it’s been quite a while
Since we felt so at home from her opening smile,
Couldn’t have been more helpful, even if she tried
So we stayed in the foyer and laughed til we cried
Sining CD’s,photos and all
Our hostess with the mostest was always on call
She dealt with the guests with patience and charm
Even the traveller with anger to disarm
Her professionalism shone until Tina arrived
To relieve her of duty, another shift survived
They both had the banter to engage and amuse
As we signed all our merch and drank all our booze
I Cant recommend this place highly enough
though I did forget my pants and had to sleep in the buff…
Days inn Woodall Awesome
Stayed for a festival, was able to check in early, receptionist were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Bed was soooooo comfortable it was perfect.
Literally used the hotel to sleep but it was a perfect stop over
Lovely little hotel (not in Sheffield tho) but quiet and able to gather your thoughts. Friendly team I encountered. Slight hike to the service’s but hotel has booze and couple snacks save going too far until you start to crave a greasy burger from next door in the services
Absolutely fantastic help from the minute I arrived. Jacky went out of her way to help (the freeezer). Thanks again Jacky
This was amazing value for money, comfy bed with a nice sized bathroom. Everything you need for a rest after a day on the road. The staff we’re friendly
£5 charge per car for guests was taking it to far. Staff was not welcoming at all. didn't read number of guests and pretended that they are doing us favor. We had exact number of guests as booked but reception was rude. Wouldn't recommend this for the money we paid. Go few miles away and decent one would be easily found.

On arrival, requests for sofa bed made up and cot available not completed. Reception grabbed linen for bed and a cot and made these up myself. Receptionist advised later a different room was set up for us but someone else assigned to that room. Slight frustration after a long day, but mistakes happen.
Room fine, pretty clean. Decorating a little poor (eg paint on mirror frame) but not that bothered all in all when using as a bade for a couple of nights.
Finding this hotel was not easy. Once there getting to the service area on foot was hazardous, there was no path or directions and it necessitated crossing the Petra’s forecourt and access road with very high kerbs.
The room was basic as expected but I was surprised the spare bed was just left as an uncovered mattress, especially as it was stained.
Another time I’ll drive on somewhere else.
