It is one of my faborite olaces in Madrid to stay.
Pros:

Excllent location, walking distance to all the sites and shopping areas in downtown Madrid. Extremely courteous and friendly staff. Rooms were maintianed immaculate every day of my stay. Dont be taken aback by the small street the hotel is on, very safe area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Outdated old hotel. Rooms are small, and Outlook is terrible
Aircondishinig is not adjustable. One lift didn't work for 3 days..
The breakfast was bad, as the quality of food was very bad.
No bathrobes
This hotel is not 4 stars, mx 3.
Ask to change the room as it was very small for 2 people

Brilliantly positioned for a stay in Madrid
Pros:

It was very quiet and in a good position - very central and close to two metro stations. The air con worked perfectly and kept the room at a steady 18 degrees, despite the heat of Madrid. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only thing was that the hot water at breakfast as in a pot which was not kept at a high temperature, so I ended up not drinking tea. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Hacian la limpieza de la habitacion muy tarde. Les pedimos que nos llenaran el frasco del gel de baño y solo nis dieron mas shampoo y nunca nos pusieron mas gel de baño. Eramos 3 huespedes y el segundo dia solo nos dejaron 2 toallas para el cuerpo

Loved the proximity to all the major sights and shopping.
Pros:

Close and within walking distance to all the major sights (Prado, Palacio Real, El Retiro, Gran Vía…). Very quiet considering you are at the Puerta del Sol. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Cons:

Although there was a good selection, breakfast could definitely be better.

Pros:

Śniadania były w porządku. Lokalizacja z jednej strony dobra, bo bardzo blisko od jednego głównych placów Madrytu, ale z drugiej strony uliczka przy której znajduje się hotel jest dość brudna a dodatkowo tuż obok wejścia do hotelu znajduje się klub nocny ze specyficznie ubranymi (rozneglizowanymi :) ludźmi.
