The room had a musky mold smell that made our eyes watery and we coughed. But couple of hours with the AC on it got better

We were traveling north and thought this was a great stop but at lower price than stopping in Savannah. This is a brand new, very clean and by far the best in Hardeeville. All rooms are modern and doors are inside the building. The staff is courteous and very helpful. My only negative is the free breakfast. It’s the usual hot buffet style but all cooked food was a little bland.
50% more expensive than any other of the 5 best westerns we stayed at throughout the eastern states. A little ridiculous for the area. Plus, when I checked my bank statement it was “surprisingly” 15% higher than we were told at the front desk. Pretty fraudulent if you ask me - definitely check your bank statements after you stay. Customer service was extremely lacking as well - he seemed annoyed we were staying there.

The room was large. the bed was comfortable. The height of the bed made it easy for me to get off comfortably. I have mobility issue.There was a slight issue with the roll in shower. There is no curtain to help retain the water.
The rooms were very clean and well furnished. The room was very cold when we first checked in which was really nice. For breakfast you had an option of waffles, Bacon scrambled eggs and potatoes boiled eggs Grits Granola walnuts Orange's apples Peanut butter cream cheese yogurt Muffins Danish coffee tea
The temperature inside the elevator was very hot
The whole motel was really clean , best breakfast we have ever had at a motel, and the air conditioner was exceptional. We will be bringing the whole family back. I only wish we could have stayed longer. So excited they allow dogs.
I only hope the pool is fixed. However that wasn't an issue for us, as it was posted on their site that it was currently closed. So we knew that going into our stay.
