My overall impression of the resort was unfortunately influenced by the check-in experience, and I found some of the spa and restaurant procedures quite unusual for a five-star property.

I booked a massage, which was excellent. The therapist was highly professional, and the treatment itself was fantastic. However, I found it strange that guests are given their robe and flip-flops at the spa reception rather than in the changing rooms.

After my massage, I went into the changing room to shower and discovered there were no towels available. In my experience, it’s perfectly reasonable to expect towels to be readily available in the changing rooms of a five-star hotel spa. I ended up using my robe to remove the massage oil before walking back to reception to ask for a towel.

When I asked why there weren’t any towels in the changing rooms, I was told, rather abruptly, that I should have either asked my therapist for one or collected one from reception. I explained that I thought this was a very unusual process for a luxury spa and simply wanted to offer some constructive feedback. Rather than acknowledging my comments, I was told, “Those are the rules,” in a manner that felt dismissive. I completely understand that every hotel has its own procedures, but good guest feedback should be welcomed rather than shut down.

I had a similar experience in one of the restaurants. My wife was already seated, and as I walked past the hostess, I mentioned that my wife was already inside and that I was going to join her. I was on the phone at the time, so I walked past the table briefly before sitting down. The hostess followed me into the restaurant and insisted on knowing my room number. I politely explained again that my wife was already dining there and I was simply joining her. Despite this, she continued to insist on my room number, which felt unnecessary in the circumstances.

Frühstücksbereich laut und teilweise überfüllt-teilweise lange Wartezeiten wg. a la carte System:alles (auch Kaffee,Wasser,Saft) musste immer nachbestellt werden. Dadurch Mitarbeiter überlasstet, aber immer freundlich.
Pools mit zu wenig sonnengeschützten Liegebereichen
Reinigungsteams bereits ab 8:30h unterwegs mit entsprechender Lärmbelästigung

Pros:

The place is so clean and relaxing. Always a pleasure when you can actually relax at a place with nature surrouinding. The best was walking barefoot on their manicured gardens, totally recommended! A beautiful place.

Cons:

The only thing I think they can improve is the breakfast. 2 things: the menu is a bit limited, although it is very good. But the other thing; you wake up and go watch the sunrise at a calm breakfast and all the staff team are screaming and talking to each other about their weekend and all that... SO unpleasant for that relaxing moment. In my opinion.

Una experiencia llena de detalles inolvidables
Pros:

Increíbles instalaciones y un servicio lleno de detalles que me han hecho sentir como en casa.
La comida deliciosa. Hemos tenido una cena increíble en Cortijo con platos a base atún y con explicaciones de cada plato que hacen de la cena una experiencia única.
Durante el día hemos podido disfrutar del spa (uno de los mejores tratamientos que he tenido) y de las instalaciones de golf.
En definitiva, para volver pronto!

We were very impressed with the accommodation. Everything was exceptionally clean, the rooms were spacious, and the services were excellent. We also appreciated the attention to detail, which made our stay even more comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place.

Cons:

The only minor downside was the reservation system for dinner at Marxa Restaurant. It showed as fully booked for the entire evening, but when we visited, the restaurant was only about half full throughout the night. It would be great if the reservation system reflected actual availability more accurately.

La relación precio calidad considero no esta acorde. Entendiendo que solo use la habitación, y que en el precio ncluye el resto de actividades que yo no disfrute. Insisto, porque fui a trabajar pero el ni el de.las instalaciones es muy bueno. Cuando doy nota de limpieza, la habitación estaba limpia, pero había unas rozaduras y detalles. Pros:

Frukosten var mycket bra och spabehandlingarna. Toppen att spapersonalen ändrade våra tider trots att det var inom 24 timmar, det uppskattades mycket. Maten i Cortijo var mycket bra, servicen utmärkt.

Cons:

Maten på SoCiety och Marxa var sämre än förväntat och ljudnivån på musiken på Marxa var alldeles för hög.
