Location perfetta, staff alla reception molto efficiente. Consigli ottimi per attività da fare a Madrid, per ristoranti e molto utile acquisto del biglietto per musei diretto dalla reception.
A wondrously beautiful hotel with an understated elegance and charm - the perfect place to start and end our holiday in Spain. The highest level of service by all members of staff. Superb restaurant with an excellent wine list. Spacious ultra comfortable rooms, fresh flowers , artwork and antiques. We would never consider staying anywhere else in Madrid!
We loved our time at this hotel. It is in a great neighborhood…close access to the subway as well as fun nearby areas to explore, shop, dine, etc. The staff was so helpful with all of our travel needs, train tickets, dinner recs, etc. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! I would highly recommend staying here.
This is the second corporate event I organize in this wonderful hotel. Not only the venue is perfect (beautiful and well located) but the service provided is exceptional. The support of the events team there also remarkable.
De mooi gedecoreerde kamer, groot, goede verlichting. En een erg goed ontbijt. De bediening is snel en heel goed. Daarnaast is het een kleinschalig hotel, en daar houden we van.
The hotel is very beautiful
The location is fantastic. The staff is very helpful and friendly
Bed and bedding very comfortable
Room very pleasant
and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we hope to come back soon
Warm helpful staff xx
Sehr zentrale Lage, trotzdem absolut ruhig, da Nebengasse. Grosse wunderschöne Zimmer. Fantastisches Frühstück. Unfassbar freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Wir kommen wieder!
lovely staff and welcome. I loved the old school vibe. Rooms were kept wonderfully, turn down included chocolates or sweets.
It was very clean but the room was a little musty/dusty smelling, we thought it might be the carpets and rugs? It definately wasn't the sheets or towels which were pristeen and wonderful to use. Can you pass this onto the hotel as I believe this is an easy fix and maybe is already planned during the Winter season.
For those who live in a cozy home surrounded by art, antiques, Persian rugs etc., this small hotel feels like home.
Housed in a XIX century building, reformed and adapted to modern convenience, the owners of this hotel have managed to maintain traditional elegance creating an ambience of understated luxury. Art, antique furniture, nice rugs and tasteful decorations, oppose what has become a refurbishment trend at most 5 star palace hotels : throw everything out the window and put modern minimalist furniture in its place.
The restaurant serves excellent meals and an ample breakfast buffet. During winter, when the nice restaurant open patio is not available, the space of the breakfast room can get crowded.
WIFI work very well as does all other systems.
We had a suite consisting of an entrance hall, ample living room, bedroom and oversized compartimented bathroom. Bed and linens as expected in top quality hotels ( including linen face towels ).
Staff is well trained and kind and took care of any of our special needs.
We have been in Madrid many times, always at the Ritz hotel before its refurbishment and new astronomical rates. Hotel Orfila is an elegant alternative option at reasonable rates.
Alles. Service und Freundlichkeit außergewöhnlich
