Perfect Hotel in Vancouver
Pros:

A very good boutique hotel in the heart of Vancouver. A warm welcome. The room is furnished with great attention to detail. The shower and the entire bathroom are in excellent condition. The bed is comfortable. A coffee machine and fridge are provided. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Sauberes Zimmer und freundliches Personal – zentrale Lage mit Schattenseiten
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Personal äusserst freundlich. Auch ein Parkplatz gegen Gebühr ist vorhanden.

Cons:

Die Lage ist zwar nahe bei der Rogers Arena und dem Canada Place, allerdings auch nicht weit weg von den Problem-Vierteln. Obdachlosigkeit und Drogenkonsum sozusagen direkt ums Eck. Das muss einem Bewusst sein.

Great stay, I would stay again.
Pros:

Great location, the staff was wonderful. Extremely welcoming and informative. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Having a room on the street side on the 2nd floor was noisy. We had to sleep with the window open because the room was very warm and I could hear someone vomiting in the night below our window.

Preiswertes Hotel nahe Gastown
Pros:

Ordentliche Unterkunft in der Nähe von Gastown, Chinatown und Waterfront. Sehr freundliches Personal. Für Vancouver relativ preiswert.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein; die Bilder auf booking.com sind mit extrem kurzer Brennweite aufgenommen.

.. stay was memorable albeit short. Will definitely book this place when I happen to be in YVR.

…close to everything we need: transportation, groceries, BC place, restaurants.
…clean and loved the Victorian style architecture

.. would have been better if microwave was in the room… but I actually didn’t mind going down to the lobby to use it.

Pleasant but location not ideal.
Pros:

The room was lovely, although somewhat a little cramped, although modern and comfy. The bed was very comfy.

Cons:

The reception was underwhelming.
The location - whilst great being downtown, was across the road from a Salvation Army shelter - there were quite a few people hanging around this shelter which I'd prefer not to have to encounter on holiday. The streets around the hotel (and therefore the shelter) had many homeless and drug affected people - perhaps it's an issue for Vancouver, but we encountered a lot of them.
