Ideal location, great staff, good value for money.
Pros:

Very close to Canada Place, US embassy etc. You can walk to Waterfront train station. Staffs were nice and responsive. Rooms were big and spacious. All amenities (except toothpaste, razor) are there.

Vintage charm in downtown Vancouver
Pros:

Charming decor and great location near to food, entertainment, and transit. Everything was very clean and comfortable with lots of space for our family of four. Good wifi and water pressure too. Perfect for a weekend trip!

Cons:

Not the quietest room, I'm the lightest sleeper in the family and noticed the road and radiator noise but everyone else slept through it. Only an issue if you're sensitive to that kind of thing.

Pros:

Super clean updated renovations make me want to stay longer, I will be back in April to visit again

Cons:

Bit loud on the street but this is coming from somebody that is used to rural living. Pillows could be upgraded

Great character and location
Pros:

A nicely restored boutique hotel in a great location. It was handy to Gastown and the ferry to Vancouver. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with lots of extras in Clyde’s. We loved it and would definitely return to the Victoria.

A new, clean room though noisy and not the nicest neighborhood.
Pros:

The room was very clean and finishes seemed to be brand new. Front desk staff were pleasant. The building felt secure which was nice because the neighborhood didn't feel the safest.

Cons:

We were kept awake by loud bass music from below us both nights. The first night, we assumed it was the restaurant downstairs so dealt with it, but it wasn't open our second night so called the front desk and it turned out to be music from the lobby. Monday morning starting at 7:30 construction noise began inside the property right next to our room. Obviously they are working to improve the property and construction has to happen some time, but we weren't told to expect this noise. Parking fees were also misleading. We were told $35/night but weren't told about the 35% parking tax in Vancouver making parking $47/night, until after receiving our final invoice.
