Excellent place to stay, would stay again.
Pros:

Very friendly staff, spacious bar area. The room was clean and comfortable, if a little bit tired in places. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

I didn't have breakfast, seemed a little expensive at £15.

Pros:

Great room, excellent staff in every part of their hotel doing a great job on a busy day.

Cons:

The only problem we had during our stay was with the wi-fi. Boosting the signal to the rooms would be really helpful.

Fairly average hotel in a fantastic location
Pros:

The location is amazing, the shower was good and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly. It has an extensive bar area with multiple screens showing sports.

Cons:

The room was smaller than expected and decor felt quite dated & a bit shabby, in need of a refresh. I was expecting the room to be a bit more Bolton themed given the location. Only very basic tea & coffee facility, no fridge or fresh coffee option or hot chocolate. No USB ports in sockets, wifi was a bit unreliable. When paying £90 per night I would expect more up to date facilities.

Breakfast is OK, usual plentiful buffet type spread of cold and hot food and decent coffee machine. It didn’t cater well in terms of proteins that vegetarians or vegans could eat (eg there are no veggie sausages or halloumi or avocado), whilst bacon, sausage & black pudding are all offered to meat eaters.

If going on matchday be aware there will be extremely long queues at the one bar that was open. The fantastic room overlooking the pitch is often cordoned off for special private hospitality events.

Staff were nice, location good, would I stay there again - no!
Pros:

Ideal for an overnight business trip

Cons:

I booked a penthouse room. Nice lounge area bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very big but poorly designed. Massive double basin and bath with shower over. Shower cubicle was a very small corner one - totally inadequate for a prestigious suite - very disappointing

Overall happy with my stay. Staff are nice and room was clean.
Pros:

Good location. Hotel is a little dated not but it was well maintained and the staff were helpful.

Room was perfectly clean as well as the bathroom a the shower was great.

Bed was clean and very comfortable too. Great pillows.

Location is key. It’s a short walk to the train station and you have the middlebrook retail park on your doorstep which offers lots of meal options.

Cons:

Maybe the price was just that little bit higher than I would have liked compared to other hotels in the area or even further afield.

Pros:

Perfect location. Fantastic sea bass on evening menu. Good choice for breakfast. Large clean rooms. Some members of staff went above and beyond expectations.

Cons:

Double bed was 2 singles together so kept falling into the middle.
