No breakfast. Booking was for 2 nights but when I checked in I was given room keys for only one night. Had to contact mgmt. to get into the room.
I stayed here early June for one of my best friend's wedding. It was the best option I had if I wanted to be close to her house to help with wedding set up and it was only a short drive to the venue. I don't stay at hotels often so I was a bit naive to the rate at the time of booking and in retrospect I wish I had read more reviews of the hotel chain in general because it seems like a lot of people have had similar experiences to mine.
I agree with other reviewers that I'm sure it's not the fault of the hotel staff that they are short staffed and aren't providing the best quality customer service because of that but I did find it serverely lacking anytime I had interacted with anyone and I'm not a high maintenance person. In fact I would love to have come and stayed and only interacted minimally with the staff and I probably wouldn't even feel the need to write this review.
Upon check in, I had to wait at the front desk for a beat before check in, which is no issue for me but it did set the tone a bit for this kind of disorganized unattentive quality to the hotel. It honestly did feel like a bit of a catfish because the room rates weren't exactly cheap and it looked like a nice place to stay online but that was my mistake for not doing further reasearch. When I got to the room I had to try a few different methods to get the key card to work and even questioned if I should check with the front desk, when I entered the room I turned on the first switch in the door and it flickered to turn on. As a woman staying alone I also noticed that the door didn't close on it's own so I had to be sure that it was fully pressed in for it to shut coming into the room and when leaving. There were little things around the room too, like laminant coming off of the kitchenette counter that I had passing thoughts about like "I wonder if I should take pictures of this as proof that it was already like this when I arrived" but I'm a trusting person so I figured there wouldn't be any issue. I didn't take pictures and I was also much more consumed with celebrating my friend's wedding and making sure that went well than this hotel being a little bit skanky.
I was set to check out the day after the wedding and I had been saying to everyone how I had payed for this late check out since it was an enhancement offered on the website when you book the reservation, maybe it was my mistake for not checking again at check in that I had the enhamcememt applied to my reservation but like I said, I'm trusting and put too much faith in this hotel that theh were actually this organized. The front desk called me to ask about my checkout time and I told them I had paid for the late check out and they asked me what time that was at as if they didn't know what I was talking about. I left my key card at the front desk when I left as it says to do on the sleeve thinking that this was the proper check out method.
A few days after returning home I noticed two pending charges from the hotel for almist the same amount of money, one around $623 (the amount that I was quoted originally) and one for around $671. I thought that maybe the charges would change and that maybe one of them was with the deposit or something but given my prior experience with this establishment I knew that I should watch them. Sure enough they both posted and I called the hotel manager the moment I noticed that they had posted. Btw, anytime I had called this hotel it takes a very long time for anyone to get the phone, you have to sit and wait for it to ring and ring and ring until someone actually picks up. I explained the charges to the hotel manager and he tells me that they both hadn't checked me out of the hotel and that the $671 charge was supposed to be a $67 charge for the late checkout which was the $45 charge plus tax. I did the math on my original bill later and the regular tax was only about 11% so I don't know how the tax on this late check out went up so much but I thought "whatever, at least I won't be paying double for my stay"
The hotel manager said that he would send an adjusted invoice to my email and I said "Thank you for your help" and trusted that he would. I did get an email after our pbone call and I opened it thinking it would be the invoice he mentioned. It wasn't. It was a survey about how my stay went. I thought it was just one of those automated ones and the email I was waiting for would come later. I'm a patient person so I waited for it to come and it never did. I waited three business days because that seemed apropriate. It hasn't come and now I'm trying to dispute it with my credit card company instead. Wish me luck, we'll see how it goes!
Overall I would not reccomend anyone to stay here and I certainly wouldn't again. If I ever need to stay somewhere that this seems like the only option I'll look for an Airbnb first.
- Nice and clean
- Very good location
- The room is pretty cosy
- Have a very big parking lot
Hard to connect to the front desk, call them so many times, no one picks up the phone!
Ubicacion
La actitud de servicio del personal NO fue calida durante el check in.
La Gerencia del hotel tiene que trabajar mas de cerca en la actitud y experiencia positiva para el huésped
Great location

The room was spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the size and placement of the table, and there were good lighting options and plenty of plugs. It was also very quiet. The location was convenient and the entrance was great for pickups and dropoffs. The refrigerator was big. Parking was available.
The housekeeping staff missed a day of cleaning and we had to request it at the front desk. Upon arrival and for 4 days the kitchen had no dishrag, hand towel, scouring pad, or frying pan. There were only two of each eating utensil and plates, no coffee mugs, no extras, no serving dishes. I suspect the items were probably available but housekeeping was remiss in checking kitchen supplies. The toaster only worked occasionally and one of the two electric burners didn’t work well.
Good location for events in Campbell and Los Gatos
No dining or market options. No amenities
Location The kitchenette was set up nice, clean.
Lack of amenities ie, no Continental breakfast. They did miss vacuuming a toenail up next to the side table.
Executive suite was spacious. King bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good. Kitchen was basic but clean.
A/C is living room had no bedroom outlet. We travel with a small fan that helped as did opening a window since night was cool. Otherwise too stuffy. Furnishings are date and cloth items are dusty, esp curtains. Light fixtures are old with inconvenient switches. Kitchen could use a toaster.
The picture look nice but this hotel is very dated and in a sketchy neighborhood. The staff was nice but was unable to help. The pillows smell like BO. Was advertised as free breakfast but there was no breakfast-probably shut down by health department. I had to leave this hotel after 1 night (I had booked it for 4). I paid through Expedia in advance (over $1400) and I was unable to get a refund for the last 3 days after contacting Expedia and the hotel several times. I recommend -do not stay here and never pay for rooms in advance w Expedia.
The location
The dog barking all night and the throw up stains in the hall and least of all no discount on the room even though water was off from 8 -3
