It was clean tidy and nice looking space
Could do with laundry service and more options for room service
Late check out
Staff weren’t very nice or helpful. You’re better off taking the stairs as the elevator is very slow. The walls inside our room had dirt marking and the carpet outside looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 5 years. Originally booked a room with a balcony to have a view and to be able to be outside while being comfortable but they had given me a different room without informing me. I went to the room they had given me where I found no balcony and the view to be looking at their hotel bar. I went back downstairs with my partner and our belongings informing them this isn’t the room I booked. The man at reception said it was an upgrade. I told him that I booked the room with the balcony for a reason. He said the hotel was all booked out and said it’s a better room anyway and asked if I want the room or not. I said it’s fine because they were full. But why couldn’t I have the room that I booked and paid for? I have ASD and ADHD and finding out these changes without ANY prior communication caused me to have a breakdown and a panic attack and really made my trip worse. Already had a terrible flight and the stay matched it. Also went to their “pool bar” or what they want to call it and ended up waiting 15 minutes for 2 drinks and only ended up receiving 1 drink. I had to go down to the bar and ask them where my drink was. Also the main door to reception was always unlocked even past 10pm even when the workers weren’t at the front desk, didn’t make us feel very secure. Also the sound proofing is non existent you can hear everyone’s conversations when they’re walking the hallways and feel like they’re going to open up your door because the sound amplifies them unlocking their own doors. Also only some of the TV remote buttons worked so that was just great.
Great staff, very helpful.
The price, lol. But it was weekend. So it’s understandable.
Location was ideal and staff were very good
Rooms a bit on the small side and facilities like tv services not good. Difficult to get any channels and chrome cast didn’t stay connected.
Location
Room is small, bathroom is tiny (nowhere to put your wash bag). Storage for your clothes is limited if you are staying more than one night. No lounge chair or desk to sit at. Not good for a business trip if you want to work and no common area to retreat to as an alternative. Bed is small (double?) I wouldn't stay there as a couple.
You can hear all of the hallway noise and the back lane way is noisy.
Good location, friendly staff, easy check in and check out. Room service coffee was decent.
It’s wasn’t great value for money. The room was small, low small bed, extremely small bathroom and the shower is not practical as the door opened inwards meaning you have to reach around and under the rain shower head to turn it on. There was also a rancid smell in the shower.
The ceiling was an old popcorn ceiling that’s leaked at some point and now there’s a big mould patch there.
The carpets in the halls are filthy, as was the rug in the room.
Definitely not worth the money. I would have preferred to stay in a decent hotel in the city for the same cost and travel a few more minutes to where I needed to be in Paddington.
Great, central location with fabulous facilities. Friendly staff and amazing cafes, restaurants and shopping around this area.
The location was perfect, and the hotel’s cleanliness and beautiful aesthetic were exactly my style.
No parking but I understand why
The room was comfy, neat and tidy. Exactly what we needed for an overnight stay. The restaurant downstairs was so good. The food was amazing. The front desk agents, the restaurant staff and housekeeping were all lovely.
My only complaint was that shower in my room leaked. So my bathroom was soaked but it was a small price to pay.
Great stay close to everything and a great place for a weekend away
