Can’t believe Gate one choose Baolong Shanghai hotel to house their tour guests.

Cons:

1-Hotel is in poor location next to multi-Level highway makes it very difficult for “tour” guests to stroll and discover the neighborhood safely.
2-Hotel has no pool or public areas (website shows indoor poor but it does not exist). False advertising !!
3- Breakfast food quality and service was poor.
4- Room was dingy with strong mildew smell

I would go there again.
Pros:

There was a water leak in the lobby. The hotel only provided the room with two tiny bottles of drinking water a day. Of course we needed more.

Perfect experience

We were there with colleagues for a Conference held in the same hotel. It was perfect. The spaces are huge and the staff is very kind. Price is really affordable.

4泊5日させて頂きました。キングサイズベッド1台の30平米の部屋に泊まりました。
思ってたより部屋は広く開放感あり、広くてゆったりできる椅子、デスクなどありました。7階だったので眺望もよく、道路に近いですがそこまで音は気になりませんでした。
移動手段はタクシーだったので、電車は一切利用しませんでした。最寄り駅からは恐らく歩いて行けるかと思いますが、上海はタクシーも比較的安いので、交通手段はタクシーがオススメです。
部屋の防音もしっかりしてたので隣の部屋の音は全く気になりませんでした。しかし、朝に廊下の掃除の音、他宿泊者の声が玄関から少し聞こえました。早起きしてモーニング行くのがオススメです。
冷蔵庫や全身鏡、クローゼット、テレビ、ルームシューズ、バスローブも部屋にあります。バスローブでいいのであればパジャマをわざわざ持っていく必要はありません。
お風呂はカーテンで仕切れるバスタブ、向かい側にガラスドアで水が撥ねないよう設計された個室シャワールームがありました。
私はシャワールームしか利用してませんが、バスタブ利用の場合お湯が溢れて床がびちゃびちゃになる可能性があると思います。
また、寝室とお風呂の間の壁がガラス張りになっており、丸見えになってしまい少しプライバシーが…と思いましたが、寝室側からちゃんとロールカーテンで仕切ることができたので一安心です。
洗面所はアメリカンセパレートになっており、大きめの洗面台、隣にトイレがありました。トイレも清潔でよかったです。
アメニティは飲料水2本、シャンプー、リンス、ボディソープやハンドソープ等がありました。コップは置いてあります。歯ブラシ(歯磨き粉付き)はフロントでチェックインの際に貰えました。アメニティが足りなくなったらフロントに電話すれば気軽に貰えます。シャンプー、リンスは日本で使っている物を持って行ったので髪質に合うかは分かりません。気になるようでしたらホテルのものは使わず持参がいいと思います。
ベッドメイキングも毎日してくれたのでとても気持ちよく過ごすことが出来ました。また、有料ですがクリーニングサービスもありますので、旅行から帰ったあとも自宅で洗濯する手間が省けました。
窓の遮光カーテンがしっかりした生地で、朝でも気づかないくらい真っ暗でした。
ジムや屋内プールもあるみたいですが、時間が足りなく利用出来なかったので、また今度利用したいと思います。
上海の中心部からもアクセス抜群で遊びにたくさん行ける立地なので、オススメです。
タクシー移動がメインだったのでホテル周辺で歩いて行ける飲食店は利用しませんでした。ホテルの最寄り駅付近に飲食店がたくさん並んでいるイメージでした。
フロントの方も対応も良く、ロビーがとても広くて開放感もあり、部屋も綺麗なので申し分ない素敵なホテルでした！もっとたくさんホテルで時間過ごしたかったです。
とても気持ち良く過ごせました。良き上海旅行でした。またご利用したいと思います。

部屋が裏側に面し、室外機の音が聞こえて、安眠を妨げるので、クレームを入れて 表向きの部屋に変更してもらいました！
