I stayed at Boston Manor Hotel and this is not a review — it’s a warning.
This place being advertised as a 3-star hotel is genuinely shocking. The reality is nowhere near that standard. The room was tiny to the point of being uncomfortable, the bathroom was dirty, and the entire place had a stale, unpleasant smell.
The toilet situation was honestly ridiculous. It was so cramped I couldn’t even sit properly — I had to sit sideways because there wasn’t enough space for my legs. If I tried to sit normally, my knees were hitting the wall. Lean forward slightly and your head is practically out of the bathroom. It’s absurd and completely unacceptable.
The windows were just as bad — one faced directly into an internal corridor, and another looked out onto exposed pipes covered in pigeon droppings. No privacy, no proper view, just neglect.
The TV in the room was laughably small — I’ve genuinely seen bigger screens in places that cost a fraction of this. It just adds to the overall feeling that no effort has been made whatsoever.
To top it off, I left behind an expensive T-shirt. I called the next day and was told nothing was found. The receptionist claimed he’s worked there for 10 years and that the staff would “never take anything” — but somehow, my T-shirt has vanished.
Dirty, cramped, poorly maintained, and completely misrepresented online.
Avoid this place. Seriously.

Clean and respectable accommodation
Pros:

The room was very clean and well maintained.

Cons:

There were no spoons to complete making a drink in the room. It would be a benefit to offer the use of a hairdryer. The TV would not turn on, but this wasn’t an issue for me personally.

Great location and room size but disappointing experience.
Pros:

Staff were nice, nice spacious room and great Netflix and WiFi facilities.

Cons:

Toilet wasn't clean nor flushed when we arrived. When doors outside our room kept shutting the whole floor could feel it each time. The shower was cold and we couldnt use it when we needed to before checkout. Made receptionist aware of this when checking out. Great location but had to leave to use shower at relatives house before family event so couldnt even have the free breakfast that was complimentary with the room price.
