Excellent hotel with great service and amazing view. Breakfest was very rich. Room outstanding. We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel offers free shuttle bus to city center. Calm and convinient location if you want visit Amalfi coast, Capri and Napoli.

Beautiful location overlooking Sorrento and Naples/Mount Vesuvius

We have been staying at the Hotel President since 7th July, and sadly our holiday comes to an end on Thursday. 😢

From the moment we arrived, we have been made to feel so welcome. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with elegant décor and attention to detail throughout. Everything is spotless, stylish, and maintained to an exceptionally high standard.

A special thank you to the wonderful reception team. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. They helped us book our trips, answered all of our questions with a smile, and even arranged a taxi at very short notice when I urgently needed to get into town. Your kindness and professionalism have been truly appreciated. ❤️

We would also like to say a huge thank you to Adriana, who has looked after our room during our stay. She is such a lovely, friendly lady who always greets us with a smile and keeps our room immaculate. Thank you, Adriana—you are amazing! ❤️

The restaurant is beautifully decorated in fresh green and white, creating a bright and relaxing atmosphere. The food has been delicious, and every member of staff has been outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always working incredibly hard to ensure guests have a wonderful experience.

The pool bar is equally impressive, with the same fresh, welcoming atmosphere. It seems that many of the staff rotate between the restaurant and the pool bar, and wherever they are working, they always provide the same exceptional service.

The complimentary shuttle bus into town has been a fantastic perk and has made getting around so easy. A special mention to the lovely driver, who now cheerfully says, “See you later!” After me every time we get off the bus. It always makes us smile. 😆

Thank you to everyone at Hotel President for making our holiday so special. We have had a wonderful stay and made some fantastic memories. We will be very sad to leave, but we hope to return again in the future. ❤️

It was a beautiful property with an amazing view! The staff were incredibly helpful and always went above and beyond whenever we needed assistance. They truly made our stay even more enjoyable.

Staff were all amazing and very professional but kind and friendly. The views were absolutely stunning and the shuttle was easy to figure out and very convenient. Food in restaurant was excellent. Overall prices in hotel were significantly higher than in the town itself but the bar and restaurant were so nice it was worth it for a short break. Disappointed with my stay. This hotel promises exclusive, personalized service. That is not what we experienced.

The shuttle was more than 30 minutes late. There were families with children waiting, and some guests had to call a taxi to leave. When I called the hotel for an update, the employee told me, in an extremely rude manner, that it was an outsourced service and not their problem. When I said that was not right, he hung up on me.

Back at the hotel, I wrote a formal complaint on my phone and showed it to the employee at the front desk. He refused to read it. I insisted on making my dissatisfaction clear, and he responded with total indifference, as if I were bothering him, repeating that it was an issue with a third-party company. When I asked him if this was the correct way to treat a guest, he did not answer.

The next morning at breakfast, I asked not to be seated by the window because of the direct morning sun. The maître d’, again in an extremely rude manner, insisted on seating me there, claiming there was no way to avoid the sun. I had to point out dozens of tables where the sun was not hitting. Once again, during a vacation, a moment that should be relaxing, I had to confront a hotel employee just to have a simple request respected.

At check-out, nobody asked how our stay was or showed any interest in improving. The same employee who had treated me rudely the night before was at the desk. On top of that, he charged the wrong bill, and another staff member had to run after me and stop me on the street, which was embarrassing, so I could go back and settle the correct amount. The only positive note: a young employee named Giuseppe listened to my complaints with genuine attention and asked me to send an email to the manager, which I will do.

And when leaving the hotel, there is simply no one to help guests with their luggage. My wife and I had to carry four suitcases ourselves, under the sun and up a flight of stairs, without any assistance.

What struck me overall is the lack of warmth from the staff. Most employees work with a heavy, unfriendly demeanor, especially at breakfast and at the front desk. I have video recordings of the rude treatment at the front desk that night and of the lack of assistance with the luggage, all of which are being sent to the hotel management by email.

Have just had lunch , poolside , and it was refreshing to see the restaurant manager politely ask a young man to leave the restaurant and return only once he had a top on .
