Premier Hotel Lybid

It was my ferist time to visit Ukrane . Overall it was a positive experience .The Hotel was comfortable with good location near to public transportation,circus and shopping facilities. The chick in and out were easy, the staff were very helpful,the room was clean and comfortable with square view.The breakfasts were tasety with a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits .
I really enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel to travellers.

I parked my vehicle at 4 AM after a long journey, no security was present, then I informed reception that I parked my car in the parking lot by the wall (I told I can leave the keys at reception if there is a problem in case) and if that would be a problem, she replied me that she does not oversee it but security, then I found security and tried to explain where I parked in English, he was not happy with it and his attitude was really aggressive whining in his native language, then he took me to the reception with anger, and reception told me it is fine where I parked...this was terrible service and attitude toward a client

The check in process was fantastic.

We were met with a smile and nothing seemed to be much trouble.

The restaurant although nice was disorganised resulting in the main coming out before the starters and given to the wrong people without explanation.

When we tried to pay for breakfast in the morning the staff spoke amongst themselves made several phonecalls only to inform me after 5 minutes that I hadn't paid.

This was something I tried to tell them many times but this was met with silence.

The barstaff were rude to the point of causing offence.

One barman started slamming my friends change down on the bar he asked for it.

He was aggressive saying "You English never tip"

Shocking behaviour after numerous offers from us to buy him a drink. A tip is given in reflection of good service and should not be taken for granted.

My room was as expected for the money I paid. It was clean and tidy although a little dated.

Overall I would not book to stay again due to the poor customer service received apart from the girl who checked us in.

The room was very small. The floor was very dirty. The bedding quality was poor. Cooler was not working. Quality was lower than a motel

Great location and value , food was very good in restaurant. It’s an older property past it’s prime but has everything you need and good service so while it’s not the Hilton it’s also not $259uSD a night it’s $70 and we’ll worth it. Front desk was very accommodating, held luggage while in between our stays , arranged covid tests for our return to the US, and over all fairly friendly .

It’s a business hotel in the city centre of Kiev. The deluxe room are pretty big. The food is excellent (believe me, I'm Italian...) and international.
Some critical aspect: the windows at 10th and at 15th floor can be open😱: it is SUPER dangerous for kids, as well as for any other person (Ukraine is not a alcohol free country 😅).
The employees wear covid mask, but not always they pay attention to all the clients and sometimes people walk freely in common areas with no mask at all 😷!!!
Few steps to do already if you wanna be a real business hotel, at international standards... 🏃

Lybid is a good value. Reception staff speak English as well as some of the restaurant staff. Breakfast buffet is good with wide choice. A lot of businesspeople as well as middle eastern tourists are often at Lybid. No complaints. Older facility but overall it’s well maintained. Premier hotel group mgmt which is a good Ukr chain very near mall and central rr station

The good: Very friendly staff. Nice view from rooms on upper floors, good and quiet AC.
The bad: Rooms are a bit on the small side and in need of a deep clean or renovation. Water was leaking from the shower cabin onto bathroom floor. Carpet had some stains and room had a distinct smell of stale smoke, which got slightly better with the days (checked another room and it was the same - likely due to increased number of guests from a certain part of the world where non-smoking in rooms is rarely respected). Some street noise, but not too bad. Curtains don't cover the whole window - this was already the case when I stayed here in 2013. Breakfast slipped a lot since then, it used to be good, now it's mediocre. Generally, hotel needs a facelift.

I stayed two nights here, the staff are friendly and helpful the room was comfortable and clean. It is in easy reach of the city centre and only 40 minutes from the airport. It is good value for money, I highly recommend this hotel

Stayed 2 night in Kyiv before flying from Boryspol, Conveniently close to the main railway station. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Every time I go to Kiev I choose this hotel as it has very convenient location. You can walk everywhere you need. Rooms, restaurants are clean. Staff are very good and friendly.They meet all your needs.

Great central location & high standard costumer relation service, good quality food & very reasonable prices.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before traveling to Minsk. The hotel was
very clean and comfortable. It had all the main facilities and and functions of a good 4 star hotel.I did not use the Restaurant during my stay but the bar was very nice.
The location was very good and not far from the
e Metro station and busses. The staff was very helpful and polite .

The reception staff was nice, but the security gentleman was very helping even he was speaking little English, but getting to the point. I wish I could give room service more than 5 star ratings.

Bed was hard as rock. Not tea/coffe making facility. No soap in shower dispencer. Other than that it was ok.

No sockets near desk or bed
Two bulbs blown during my 3 day stay
Aircon didn't work, had to open window
Door doesn't automatically shut
Can't put dinner on the room, had to pay credit card
No iron/ironing board available for 'safety' reasons. Have to use ironing 'room
Room is pokey and small
Decor in the entire hotel is 50 years out of date
Bed hard
Shower cubical is tiny
The shower was not hot on the second morning
Only 5 hangers
This hotel is as premier as faulty towers - AVOID!

Enjoyed everything about the place... the staff yo the convenience of the location
