The hotel is in a great location. The property was lovely although it could have been cleaner

Well appointed rooms, but not having central heat in late Sep was irksome.

Amazing eclectic decor., with very helpful staff.

Breakfast could be better, especially for vegetarians.

Hotel is in a perfect location for walking to everything in the old town. Facilities and modern, since it was recently opened.

Great location and very clean. Beds were comfortable. A bit noisy on the weekend evenings but otherwise nice and quiet. The bathtub was really tall so for those who are shorter, it was a bit tricky to get in and out of it safely.

This hotel is ideally laced for walking all round Riga. It is centrally located but due to its layout is very quiet

Great place to stay mid old city. Quiet and super convenient. Staff were really helpful. Will defiantly stay here again.

Everything as expected. Great buffet. Suggest use real eggs, not the powdered type.

We did not have our rooms cleaned or re-supplied on any of the 3 days. We had to complain to get this fixed.
Asked for a room with some view, but it was just a wall opposite.
The shower was not installed correctly, water did not drain away.

Short version: hotel with problems and staff that doesn’t care. Long version below.
I’ve got a room that had entry with second door that goes to the room itself. When we arrived late in the night it took me 5 minutes to figure out where to stick room key to turn on the lights. ( in europian hotels you must to do it to turn on lights.) it was hidden behind second door in the entry.
Next step AC. No matter what we did it was not working. Called front desk, they told me to wait more. Called again 5 minutes later( don’t forget it’s 1am already) they told me to wait more. I insisted to change the room and they said they will send someone. 10 minutes later someone told me to find small button on top of the thermostat and press it. With flashlight ( thermostat is in the same entry) I found one. Finally we set thermostat to 75 and went to bed. My wife woke me up one hour later and it was freezing in the room. Since thermostat was positioned in the entry behind the door it was continuously running no matter what was temperature in the room.
Next day I invited hotel manager to check my room. I asked him to turn on the light - it took him over a minute to find the spot. I explained him about AC he told me nothing I can do. No sorry for inconvenience, no offer to move us to another room.
We left for our tour day and left “please clean up the room” sign. When we came back room was untouched. We were bitten and decided to deal with it later. On top there were no hot water for 2 days
