For half board included rates, please note that on the 31st of December the property only offers lunch. An optional Gala Dinner is served at the restaurant with an extra cost and subject to availability and confirmation from the hotel.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. I’d stay there again, and again. Loved everything about it.
Pros:

Stunning historical hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. The room clean and pleasent.

Cons:

Had to wear a swimming cap in the inside pool and none were available for purchase

It is a lovely historic hotel, with a fantastic lobby, a big indoor pool, and stunning outdoor pool.
Pros:

The personnel was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and pleasent.

Cons:

There was a smell on the 2nd floor on the way out to the beach.

Da localização.

Cons:

Das instalações. Mobiliário muito antigo e até degradado. Instalações a precisarem de remodelação. Para um hotel de 4* deixa muito a desejar. Pequeno almoço muito fraquinho e com pouca variedade.

Pros:

Esta não foi a minha primeira estadia no Hotel do Mar e mantenho a opinião do ano passado: a localização continua a ser fantástica, quase mágica! No entanto, as instalações precisam de grandes melhorias. Durante a estadia, os elevadores estiveram constantemente avariados ou bloqueados e o teto da piscina interior apresenta sinais visíveis de ferrugem. É um hotel com muita história, mas que precisa de um investimento em manutenção e renovação para voltar ao estatuto de um 4 estrelas, que, na minha opinião, atualmente não justifica.

Pros:

O hotel é uma pérola da arquitectura que não me canso de admirar. Localização perfeita.

Cons:

Já fiquei no hotel várias vezes, mas sempre em quartos nos pisos mais altos; desta vez ficámos num quarto logo acima das escadas de acesso à praia que é mais barulhento.
