Historische Lokation zentral am Mekong Delta
Pros:

Historische Unterkunft im Herzen von Saigon am Mekong River.

Cons:

Es war nach vorne heraus sehr laut. Das Personal andere Rezeption war professionell aber sehr distanziert.

Das Majestic ist ein recht altes Hotel, das sein 100-jähriges Bestehen feiert. Von außen sieht das Hotel beeindruckend aus, und auch die Lage ist ideal, da viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Einkaufszentren usw. in der Nähe liegen. Die Zimmer sind schön, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Ein Teil des Gebäudes ist neu. Die Innenausstattung des alten Teils ist etwas veraltet. Das Frühstück wird auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Hauptstraße und den Fluss serviert. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist in Ordnung und angemessen. Vielleicht hätte ich mir eine viel bessere Auswahl erwartet. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Pool mit einigen Liegen zum Entspannen und Ausruhen. Als alleinreisende Frau habe ich mich sicher gefühlt.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer war als Zimmer ohne Fenster gebucht, und ich bat um ein anderes Zimmer und bekam eines im älteren Teil des Hotels mit Balkon, von dem aus man auf die alten Gebäude in der Umgebung blicken konnte. Die Aussicht war nicht besonders schön, aber für mich waren der Balkon und das Licht wichtiger. Das Frühstück hätte besser sein können und hätte mehr Auswahl bieten können.

In die Jahre gekommen und laut mit gutem Frühstück
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Lage ist für Aktivitäten in der Stadt zentral und man erreicht schnell die schönsten Punkte in der Stadt. Von außen ist das Hotel sehr schön und der Frühstücksbereich ist wundeerbar.

Cons:

Auf Grund der Straße und der zahlreichen Klimanalagen und anderen Einrichtungen ist es im Haus und am Pool für uns immer zu laut gewesen und die Einrichtung entspricht nicht mehr aktuellem Standard, vor allem für den Preis. Die Preise für nicht alkoholische Getränke waren teurer als im 5Sterne Hotel in Singapore.

A lovely 2 days spent in this vibrant city.

Friendly and helpful staff with luggage and opening doors upon your arrival and departure. Very Opulent as you walk through into the main foyer. We had room with balcony facing the river. The room was a very good size and bed super comfortable and quiet, we really did not hear any traffic noise outside. Breakfast was amazing and location was spot on.
