Expensive but not worth the money
Pros:

Restaurant was great. Food was great and service was amazing. Checkout was fast

Cons:

Tub was clogged. Double bed was two singles. No breakfast for the price was not a good value. On check in I was asked if I was alone. This question is no longer appropriate for security reasons

Great location, half the rooms were clean and comfortable

We booked 4 rooms with 2 being good,, 1 had the air con vent blowing on the bed and 1 had an awful pneumonia smell that was coming from the refrigerator.

Good location, poor hotel desperately in need of an upgrade
Pros:

The room size was great. The Air conditioning was great, very quiet compared with other hotels we stayed in during our holiday. The location was good for us, as we were travelling around Italy by train.

The staff were brilliant, all very helpful and happy to assist when needed.

Cons:

The hotel and room decor is very dated, circa 1990s, and really needs freshening up and modernising.

The bathroom, although a good size, had a terrible old shower in a fixed position that sprayed the whole room, unavoidably often flooding the floor.

There were only electric socket points on one side of the bed. No available charging points for mobile phones. Tea and coffee making facilities provided, but without milk. A vending machine or somewhere to buy bottles of water or snacks would be a very useful addition.

There was often loud noise in the corridors late at night, and early in the morning by inconsiderate disrespectful guests talking very loudly, or shouting at each other. The lift also makes a pinging sound every time it stopped on our floor which could be heard all night. These issues resulted in poor sleep each night for us, despite the bed being very comfortable.

Overall I wouldn't stay here again because the facilities don't make for a comfortable stay, which is disappointing because the location is perfect for those travelling and the staff were fantastic.
