Good 3 star hotel that I would choose again. Good location, good value and nice staff.
Pros:

This is a 3 star hotel. I was there just for convenience for University of Iowa Hospitals. It turned out to be better than I expected. If you judge it as a 3 star hotel you will be pleased with it and a good value. The staff was nice and the front desk person named Raj was very kind and accommodating. I also liked the breakfast. I will choose it again.

The employee's were absolutely amazing, very accommodating and just nice as can be. This is by far my most favorite place to stay in the Iowa City area

Location was good close to where we were going

Cons:

The room was dirty / carpet needed vacuumed / there was stuff from previous guest in the shower so bathroom needed cleaned / shower curtain was dirty the pillows were terribly uncomfortable it was just very unkept the front desk guy was very rude and disrespectful i requested a ground floor room for my elderly dad who has terrible lung issues and can’t walk far I was promised a ground floor room thru my email and nvr got one the desk guy didn’t even try and accommodate it even though I showed him my email

The bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator was spacious and included a small freezer. Breakfast options were plentiful.

Cons:

The room smelled like previous guest(s) had been smoking. Caulk around tub was severely peeling and rusted.

Pros:

Hotel staff was great helping us with a super late check in

Cons:

The room was disgusting!!! Hair everywhere in the bathroom on the floor, all over the shower and toilet! No body wash at all or other soap to wash up with.
