The SureStay in Coralville is VERY run down, shabby and a sad comment on Best Western’s industry name.
Pros:

It was so rundown and dirty - beginning in the parking lot - that it was hard to find anything to like.

Cons:

The room was haggard and smelly - from stained carpet all the way to soiled, rumpled curtains. But when we looked the bathroom, we were appalled. It had been overlooked (I assume!) by the cleaning staff and had hair and dirt in the tub and on the floor and… I should’ve taken more pics, but was grossed out.
When we went down to tell the staff, they offered another room that was the same - only this one had a bed that had obviously been used! Bc we had to leave for an event immediately, we didn’t know if we could find another place to stay, but the staff assured us they would make it right. We ended up paying over $170 for the one night we spent there (after a $13 discount) bc we were told the multi-night discount we received thru booking.com discounts the consecutive nights - not the first. WOW. And the email address to contact the mgr (who wasn’t there) was invalid. Almost unbelievable.
We moved to a spotless Marriot that had far more amenities for $140 a night (including taxes) for our remaining stay.
All that to say, it was a very negative experience at the SureStay in Coralville and we DO NOT recommend it.

Comfortable and convenient
Pros:

Large bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, with a lot of options, Indoor pool

Cons:

Housekeeping service needs to leave enough towels and toilet paper for the number of guests and length of stay.

I wouldn’t stay there again.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The room smelled terrible! The bathroom toilet cover was broken. The window was covered with fog.
