The property is excellent. Rooms in very good condition. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Decent place to stay max for couple of days, over priced considering the amenities
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gateway. The hotel is set in a good location with a beautiful garden spanning many acres. The room had all basic amenities and was quite spacious (standard room), with an outdoor seating area that made it even more enjoyable. The facilities on site were also adequate (restaurant, swimming pool, spa, pool table, activity area, gym) to enjoy a quiet stay on site, with music evening happening on most days where you can put your singing skills to test 😀
The restaurant had fabulous food, with a great spread for breakfast, and good options for lunch and dinner. The entire staff were very warm and friendly and make you feel at home straight away. A special mention regarding Chandrima who ensured we had a smooth check in and was available to answer all our queries. All the other staff were also very welcoming. Kumar, the gardener also gave us a tour of the garden which was really refreshing. All in all, this is a must stay if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind.
Lovely property spread across stepped gardens, with a large pool. Other than attention to detail in house keeping (had to remind to get things, take away things etc that are meant to be default a few times) - everything else was good. Great breakfast spread. A la carte regular Indian was good. Malenadu regional food was strictly average. Did not try international or the bar
Not value for money
Great place, unmatched ambience. Very courteous staff, good food. The gym is a disappointment, hardly anything in equipment, very small area, no one to manage. Otherwise, everything more than expected. Will I go back, a definite yes

The service at the resort and the restaurant was amazing. any room service request made was catered to within 5 minutes.
The restaurant staff (especially Biplab Das) was super friendly and very accommodating. Any special food request made for my 4 yr old daughter was fulfilled in the best manner.
The interior of rooms is a bit outdated. But they have planned renovation of rooms which got delayed due to covid.
Overall a very relaxing experience. 5 stars for the hospitality.

Resort is old but maintained [ ok ok ] but no worth for money , cottages are ok compared to rooms. Food costly around 40% more than 3 star category. No activities like camp fire. About in-door games are usual with single carom board , one snake ladder board and one chess board
