Not great - change the pillows, sort out the smell
Pros:

Excellent service on arrival.
Clean room.
Good size room

Cons:

Pillows meant I didn't get any sleep as too hard and high. More.brick like than pillow like.
No phone in room
The room really smelt terrible (is there a body under the floor boards, I joke but it did smell bad in that room)
The pool was shut when I arrived at 7pm and didn't open again til 9 in the morning.
The mattress wasn't great.
I regretted not booking elsewhere

Relaxed stay - even extending it by another 2 nights.
Pros:

The hotel is very well situated in Bournemouth, with the beaches close by and the town centre a short walking distance.

Excellent value for money.

Room convientely situated close to stairs and was only on the 1st floor, with reception downstairs close by.

Reception staff were very professional, helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The room was warm, even without heating and a small window open.
I rather liked this, even though some guests may not.

The extractor fan was not working - not a big problem.
The handle on the small window was missing and therefore was not able to be closed.
