Horrible stay
Pros:

House keeping stole my money. The whole stay was horrible. Apparently a lot of people had either money or items stolen at this hot

Cons:

Beim Einchecken wurde ein völlig falscher Preis genannt - 50% über gebuchtem und ohne Frühstück. Wir hatten jedoch nicht nur die 50% auch incl. Frühstück gebucht. Erst auf unsere Beschwere wurde dies revidiert.

Gute Lage und sehr freundliches Personal, jedoch kleine Zimmer und ein ausbaufähiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Pros:

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende, gute Lage und insgesamt sehr saubere Zimmer.

Cons:

• Die Zimmer waren sehr klein und boten wenig Platz.
• Der Pool auf der Terrasse war ebenfalls klein, oft besetzt und an unserem geplanten Pooltag geschlossen. Leider wurde dies im Voraus nicht kommuniziert und es wurden keine Alternativen angeboten.
• Insgesamt empfanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als eher hoch für das gebotene Angebot.

Good but room for improvement
Pros:

This hotel is in a lovely position near the promenade in Sea Point and we felt very safe during our 4 night stay there. It is also spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, good showers and a great selection at breakfast time. However there is some room for improvement with regards to staff training. We had booked two x larger guest rooms for our stay and once shown to our rooms, it was immediately obvious that one was much smaller than the other. It took two phone calls and a wait of around 25 minutes before this was resolved, but it was a mistake that should not have happened in the first place. The staff in the dining room also need some additional training. Although friendly, drinks orders were often wrong and plates were very hastily whipped away when you were finishing your last mouthful. The items on the dinner menu were also rather disappointing, so we only ate there once. There is definitely room for improvement.

Great location, great staff, great food!
Pros:

Fantastic location and even better service - within a period of 2 weeks we stayed there three times and it felt like home away from home. Staff did an amazing job to accomodaties us - breakfast was excellent - Dining experience both in the hotel and their newer restaurant Luuma were also great! Will definitely stay here again when back in Cape Town

Seafront location. Quieter than in Cape Town centre but a short shuttle trip away

Cons:

Not really a dislike but the soundproofing in the rooms, especially from the room into the corridors was poor. Hearing the cleaners from some distance away

Great experience
Pros:

It was a great experience staying at this hotel. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Travel guide/ concierge Asha helped us to book some tours and all went very well.

Excellent stay for 3 nights!
Pros:

The rooms were perfect for a short stay, and the location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was decent and just about right. There are plenty of things to do nearby, making the location a real highlight. The air conditioning was very effective and the quality of sleep was good. Our room was close to the elevators, so there was a bit of noise at times, although this was not the hotel’s fault.

I was not happy at this hotel.
Pros:

The staff were okay.

Cons:

There was absolutely no value for money!! For that price, I could have stayed in a much larger, nicer, and more comfortable full-board room anywhere else in the world.

I was really disappointed that breakfast wasn’t even included — it felt more like an overpriced Airbnb, and honestly, I wish I’d just booked one instead. The room itself was tiny, with barely enough space to open my suitcase or store it. I ended up keeping it in the narrow walkway between the bed, bathroom, and exit. Definitely not worth the cost or the limited amenities.
