Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for our visit plans. We enjoyed the comfort and busy atmosphere in the Coral Room bar.
Watch out for discretionary service charges. You shouldn’t pay twice for services you expect in a five star hotel with five star prices.
Service exceptional. The manager looked after my mum who required a room closer to ground level. Nothing was a problem.
The whole team who looked after us from start to finish was excellent.
Amazing hotel with 2 cocktail bars and a restaurant.
Lovely room, comfy beds, all the comforts and services you need. The interiors are so beautiful and there are so many spaces to relax.
All staff were friendly and efficient doing the extra bit to make you feel physically and mentally comfortable.
Bat staff seemed overly busy.
Living in Dubai can set your expectations pretty high. The Bloomsbury Exceeded ours. From the welcome on arrival to the room, bars and breakfast. Everything was delivered to an impeccable standard. The staff were all incredibly friendly, professional and attentive without being obtrusive. Our room was a wonderful haven of subtle luxury and peace. Must mention Maria who looks after breakfast - amazing lady who remembers every guest name from day 1 and their individual preferences. amazing! Also, Matteo on the bar, the whole reception team and (sadly can't remember his name) the chap who brought our luggage up and sorted some express laundry requirements was fantastic. All the staff were lovely. We recently had a local staycation at Atlantis, The Palm in one of their Oceania Suites - We enjoyed the Bloomsbury more XX
Personal preference - the shower water pressure could be a little more powerful and less water softener.
Beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast, and a great staff.
There’s also a lovely tea/cocktail bar at the hotel.
Excellent location.
The rooms are very small, and the shower only has a fixed shower head with no handheld option, which makes it inconvenient if you don’t want to wash your hair. Considering the price, I would have expected a slightly more spacious room — especially since we didn’t even book the smallest room category.
Lovely luxury hotel in heart of London. Very special welcome from staff, great bar.
Pillows were a bit flat, could have used another one.
Luxury hotel in central London, attentive staff, nice period bar
pillows could be firmer, were a bit too flat when in use.
Comfortable extra large bed.
Being told the price was more than Booking.com confirmed price. Only on query was I told it was a ‘discretionary 5%’.
My credit card being charged an additional £100 on arrival. On departure I was told it would take 3-5 days to refund.
Large plastic toiletries screwed to bathroom wall - really? In a 5* hotel???
