A bit under staffed for restaurant
Excellent service throughout our stay, particularly from Maria at breakfast each morning & Brian at concierge desk. Wonderful stay!
Our stay at The Bloomsbury Hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our mother-daughter trip to London even more special. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. The service was exceptional—everyone was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely eager to help.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the location couldn’t have been better. We were able to easily walk to so many of London’s iconic attractions, restaurants, and West End theaters. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city.
We especially loved dining at the hotel’s restaurant before seeing The Devil Wears Prada. The atmosphere was vibrant, colorful, and the food was fantastic.
A special thank you to our amazing travel agent Betsey for recommending The Bloomsbury. It was exactly what we were hoping for, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice.
We made memories we’ll cherish forever, and when we return to London, we’ll absolutely stay at The Bloomsbury again. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Bloomsbury is excellent in all respects. Our suite was beautiful and perfectly maintained. No street noise at all. Very plush towels. We loved this hotel and all the staff. Everyone was cheerful, polite, helpful - all you could ask for. We will definitely return when in London and are recommending The Bloomsbury to all our friends. Special thanks to Ivan, Peter, Brian, Dale, Alan, Chloe and Tania.
The breakfast options were wide and varied.
Check-in could’ve been much better. I arrived early, but my room was not available until shortly before 4 o’clock. Long after the expected check-in time of 3 o’clock.
Wonderful hotel! Lovely rooms, excellent staff, great location close to tube and bus stops, walking distance to West End shows. The only problem was that the air conditioning would turn off several times during the night causing us to wake up from heat. After 3 nights of very poor sleep from having to get out of bed to turn the ac back on, I spoke to the front desk and was told that "they were a sustainable hotel, so the air conditioning would turn off if it was not adjusted at the panel periodically". I asked if it was possible to have the ac stay on all night and they said yes, they would have the engineer set it to stay on. It took 3 nights of asking, and finally on our 6th night the ac stayed on all night. One other note, upon checkout they present you with a "discretionary charge" of 3% of your total bill. I wish this charge would have been disclosed at check-in. In the rush to check out, I paid the $160 fee not understanding exactly what this charge was. I later learned that this charge could have been declined (we did not use the porter or daily housekeeping).
The staff are consistently incredible- they all go the extra mile. Their hospitality training is gold standard and faultless. Any issues with the room were not only resolved but exceeded expectations- Andrew the night manager was particularly attentive and helpful- and made the stay the best one yet,

The staff were very pleasant
The first room i was given was very nice but right near a very noisy housekeeping station. Lots of banging doors and loud voices. I was shown two other rooms one a suite where I had to pay extra the other not the same category I had paid for.. I was ready to check out and find another hotel but they 'found' another room. In the end they added 2 complimentary breakfast for the 3 mornings there. Took the shine off what I thought was a wonderful hotel
The perfect location, excellent service across all areas of the hotel, wonderful toiletries, great rooms, and staff who go above and beyond to help and look after you. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The hotel was beautiful. My words were Wow upon entry. Greeted by a wonderful staff treated fantastic all week. Location was perfect for walking in central London. Very quaint and cozy. Can’t say enough about the service and the staff!
