Lovely stay in a charming hotel and city.

HVAC problems
Pros:

Great location, staff and lobby. Lack of room cleanliness is the only negative issue I have experience here. I have stayed several times as work brings me to Philly.
Some negative housekeeping issues, but nothing worth commenting on. Things were always ok. The rooms are dated so there is only so much HK can do.
Maintenance on the HVAC is severely lacking. Often a musty smell and clogged air filters. Room is covered in dust a day after you arrive without HK. I was told in the past that they were too busy to keep up with filter changes but that in the slow winter it would be corrected. My most recent stay was the same. Musty slow airflow and dust over everything the next day when I returned. I turned off the HVAC unit to keep it from recirculating the dust. Please change the filters or I will have to change hotels.

Foarte frumos
Pros:

Dimensiunea camerei a fost generoasă, ferestrele au fost mari, cu o vedere foarte frumoasă asupra orașului. Patul a fost confortabil. Hotelul este amplasat ideal pentru a vedea centrul vechi și pe cel nou.

Cons:

Pe parcursul sejurului, sauna nu a fost funcțională, iar condițiile piscinei au fost sub așteptările mele.

Decent hotel within walking distance to most major historic sites
Pros:

Nice location within walking distance to most major historic sites. There was major construction right next door at Penn’s landing that started early in the morning. Rooms could use a refresh but were generally fine. Staff was pleasant.

Location is excellent. The breakfast was good

Cons:

the room was freezing and appeared that the thermostat was not working. The room was not very clean. The bathtub did not look like it had been cleaned before we got there.

Pros:

The location was wonderful - close enough to the convention center without being right in the city. Lots of places for food options close by also.

Cons:

The rooms were not well maintained/clean. The bathrooms had broken and peeling tiles and trims. The carpet was dirty enough to make the kids feet dirty from running around.
