Lovely stay to celebrate a birthday
Pros:

Room excellent, staff polite, dinner fab, could have had a slighty bigger portion for the cooked breakfast, 1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage 1 mushroom, egg, tomato and beans

Old world classic hotel, shame the breakfast took ages and the room was cold

Room was really cold. Took an age to get served breakfast, hotels with buffets are much quicker.

Lovely old building, super big room and great breakfast
Pros:

Very large room, big comfortable bed, ample pillows. Bath and shower. Great breakfast. Lovely quiet location, easy access to town by car

Great Location. Great food,. Friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

The food was excellent - both the evening meal and the breakfast. The room was a good size , clean and comfortable.
The setting was great - lots of wildlife about .

Cons:

If i was being very picky - the furniture in the room was a little tired !

Overpriced food and drink. Stone cold 'freshly prepared' full Scottish breakfast....Chef...you had one job....! Overflowing cigarette / garbage bin at entrance to property.

Require clearer signage on each floor to know where you are. I was staying in room 340 and require to take 2 separate lifts. Getting back to reception I would find myself getting lost

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very good with our dog. The breakfast was excellent. Really good quality bacon and sausages freshly prepared. Good choice. Lovely baronial style. Spacious bedroom and with great separate bath and shower. Lift in good working order.
