Firstly the building was incredible. High Victorian at its best and a real treat to stay in such opulent surroundings. Secondly, the food was very good and staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was a double and fine but would like to try a bigger room and wonder if they have decorated Victorian rooms at all. It was great reading about the history of what was once a Grand home.

Location and the gardens are exceptional at this time of year. House is beautiful and hotel fits in it very well. Breakfast very good but poor choice for evening meal

The old building of 1881 and how well it's been kept and loving all the old wood.

We loved the period features of the inside of the hotel and the beautiful grounds. The bedroom was clean, spacious and cosy. The bed was comfy. The bathroom had a bath and a walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant offering nice, spacious rooms and tasty food. Within walking distance of a path that will take you straight to Duthie Park. For those who prefer enjoying nature rather than a bustling city, it is perfect.
