The location. The large comfy rooms. The very good breakfast and the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The quality of the towels and loo paper were also much better than in most other hotels.
The room has been very clean and breakfast had a good selection.
I have booked 2 rooms, one for myself & my partner and one for my mum and event tho the price was the same for both rooms, they were very different regarding the size of the room you receive.
Tolles Ambiente und nettes Personal.
Toilettenbürsten haben gefehlt.
Fantastic period decor and furnishings. Well prepared food, friendly and attentive staff.
Heat in room - could not be controlled
Albergo situato all'interno di un meraviglioso parco. La stanza grande e pulita; la cucina eccellente ed il personale molto gentile e disponibile.
A gyönyörűszép környezete, a szálloda stílusa.
Apart from a minor glitch at the start which the efficient receptionist rectified quickly with an upgrade all was excellent.
All good
Lovely historic rooms and great gin & tonic
Rooms are not properly clean, we found bugs in a bed and if you stay in the front rooms you have to deal with the noise of the wedding venue. Staff are stressed and look overwhelmed with the work. Breakfast buffet was always empty. Good hygiene was an issue as well.
Das Personal war nett und höflich. Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich.
Und das Essen war echt klasse.
Ich finde es ein bisschen teuer.
Quiet warm comfortable, nice room
Limited choice for dinner and poor fresh fruit salad at coffee. Low quality coffee at breakfast for which there is no excuse in this day and age .
Peaceful location.
Characterful.
Be careful. We booked a superior king bed room and asked for a quiet room location. I was a little suspicious that it was a standard room but went with it.
It wasn't until I checked the website photographs that I realised they had put us in a twin room miles down the end of a corridor. Too late as we had paid but I mentioned my concern to the reception staff as feedback as we left. They said it was Booking.com's fault as they use different terms for the rooms and they would never downgrade a guest. I know it was a twin room as they'd pushed two single beds together and the room looked nothing like the deluxe king room (superior in booking.com). There is only standard and deluxe on their own website and we didn't choose a standard king on booking.com, we chose superior king.
I was not happy.
Food not great either. Expensive and not to a good standard. Steak request was medium rare and came medium - a simple ask really.
