Great appearance from outside and big comfortable bedroom.
A bit jaded inside.
The old fashion rooms.
You could make more of the grounds
The actual building is amazing with wonderful features. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were both excellent in terms of quality choice and service. Our bedroom was huge, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Bathroom also very good although both a little dated.
Pint of lager in the bar nearly £8 a pint. TV in bedroom didn't work but one of the staff changed it with another tv from another bedroom straight away. Hot water tap in sink made a screeching noised every time it was turned on.
Accommodation great food fabulous
Nothing
Breakfast was delivered to our room and despite being distant from the kitchen the cooked breakfast was hot as well as good quality
Reception wasn’t manned which caused us to leave and phone back to settle our bill
Beds were very comfortable. Hotel looked amazing.
Check in was lacking in information, they didnt confirm what time breakfast was and where it was also needed to ask which way to the room. But they were polite and friendly.
A great interior to the communal areas, very comfortable and clearly of historic importance, the additional rooms lack the same character. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was good, good breakfast, efficient timings on food wait and room service. Bathroom was very clean. Room was pretty quiet even with a big event during the evening.
The fundamental reason I stay in a hotel is to sleep, so I can’t understand why the mattress was so bad, it’s like it hasn’t been changed since the 1980’s.
Also, there were small things missing, such as no complementary water in rooms, nor tea or coffee making facilities. Room safe had no batteries and therefore not working. Room was pretty chilly too, the heating control is an electric rad manually operated. Room had cobwebs. No plug socket by the bed for charging devices. Booked an alarm call, but they failed to call me. Horrible noise from the water system when running showers.
We have stayed at Norwood Hall a number of times in the past. We enjoyed our stay just as much as on previous visits. We did not dine in the hotel this time but did have breakfast, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good. The staff were all friendly, courteous and welcoming. We believe the cost represented good value for money, we will be back in the future.
Location was perfect. Staff excellent and helpful and good value for money
Was noisy and room heaters not too great also bed too soft
Outside of the hotel, the bar and the restaurants are lovely.
Good day for best friends wedding. Lovely ceremony room.
Room was really dusty, not been hoovered or wiped down. Food and peanuts on the floor from other guests.
Paid for a deluxe room and felt like a standard.
Lovely outside
Food is expensive, and it’s out of the way so you’re either paying £4-5 delivery for food or £20 uber each way to the centre. Our TV didn’t work either. Also, you’re paying around £10+ for one alcoholic drink each.
Food and room was amazing
Parking and stunning views
Le cadre. L’hôtel est vraiment magnifique.
Les voisines de chambre qui ont fait du bruit jusqu’à plus de 2 heure du matin sans se soucier des personnes qui avaient envie de dormir. Cris + portes qui claquent.
Characterful property and grounds. Good location for walks along the Dee. Spacious and comfortable room. Very clean. Ample parking. Delicious breakfasts.
The evening food seemed quite expensive so I didn't eat dinner at the hotel.
