Room big and clean and quiet.
Bed mattress smaller than base. Windows very dirty.
Staff at breakfast disorganised.
Excellent wedding venue, food was very good, and the Staff were excellent
The bar is a bit small and can take time to get drinks when its busy
Lovely hotel, free upgrade was fantastic with large comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Great breakfast.
We were disappointed that on the second morning of our stay, we had to choose the hot breakfast from the hot breakfast buffet (presumably due to the hotel being very busy with guests staying over from a wedding the previous night) so other lovely breakfast options usually chosen from the breakfast menu such as eggs benedict or French toast were not possible. Shower pressure on bathroom wasn't great.
I loved the location. Beautiful grounds, very relaxing. Lovely food, staff very helpful.
What I didn’t like was that when I was paying my bill for dinner and offered to round the amount up so that the serving person received a tip, the serving person said that they didn’t see any of the money, so that I shouldn’t bother! Not very good.
Main building is nice, bed was comfortable
The bar is tiny and the drinks are needlessly expensive.
We stayed an extremely dated and small room(58), value for money really poor
We always try to stay at Norwood Hall when we are in Aberdeen and are very happy with the staff, room etc. This time we were in room 439 and although the cleanliness was up to the usual high standard, the bathroom did have a damp smell. The room was fine and so we did not complain. Everything else was perfect and the breakfast was lovely.

Wonderful location and beautiful hotel.
Hot water was scalding and one tap on bath fell off. Room 441. Lots of plumbing vans outside on our departure. Hope they are fixing things.
Quite secluded place with well kept grounds. Just outside of the city. Although we had a car public bus service available. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Two nice rooms to relax or have afternoon tea or a drink.
Beautiful hotel, room was spacious and had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Food was delicious
Nothing!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was fantastic.
Breakfast was surprisingly disappointing considering the calibre of the hotel. 1 hard pillow and 1 soft pillow on the double bed made it awkward to try and find the right order to help sleep.
Beautiful and elegant property. Great value for money.
The property itself is lovely on the exterior, the wedding venue is stunning too! Also the location is beautiful
Room was a little dusty, and the majority of staff was rude, I had lost my key and the man on reception he just couldn’t be bothered and made a rude remark. In the bar even though I was ordering the same 2 drinks everytime the price was fluctuating between £16-23 and the bar staff couldn’t even understand what I was asking for… noticed they was charging for a double even though they was given singles.
Lovely large room, comfy bed and clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast too.
Although an old style hotel, much of the soft furnishings are very old and musty and need upgrading.
