Amazing! If you have status with Expedia, you're treated like royalty. :)
Fabulous experience!
This is our second year in a row staying at Hotel Soleil. It's the absolute BEST property in Antigua.
We recommended it to people in our shuttle from the airport to the hotel. They had planned to leave after two days, but we ran into them at the hotel after five days. The hotel is so gorgeous neither they nor we ended up leaving. That's how amazing it is!
The BEST property in Antigua. The grounds are just gorgeous. Great breakfast. The entire staff is SO helpful. It's always a wonderful experience.
Hotel Soleil La Antigua is a resort with a lot of potential, located in a beautiful setting with convenient access to Antigua's main attractions. While the hotel offers stunning views and a charming, dated aesthetic, my recent stay highlighted some significant maintenance and service issues.
Upon arrival, we were moved from our first room due to a non-working A/C. The hotel staff was quick to accommodate us, which we appreciated, but the new room presented its own set of challenges. The bathroom tub leaked almost constantly, creating puddles on the floor, and a roof leak required us to strategically place garbage cans to protect our belongings. While these were major inconveniences, we were able to manage around them.
The bright spots of the trip were a wonderful surprise for my birthday. The hotel provided a thoughtful slice of birthday cake and a customized card. I also took advantage of the birthday discounts at the on-site spa, receiving 50% off a Lomi Lomi massage, while my friend got 25% off. This was a fantastic perk. However, the spa experience itself was problematic. During my first massage, the A/C unit leaked, spilling water onto the floor and disrupting the peaceful environment. When I returned for a second massage, I was placed in the same room. This time, the A/C was completely off, and the heat triggered an asthma attack. The massage therapist had me move rooms while still completely unclothed—an awkward and unprofessional moment, even though I was the only p
This place was amazing and i enjoyed my stay . Staff was good , breakfast was off the chain. They offer transportation to and from the airport for 70us for 3 peoples.
I hate the fact that we couldn’t get outfood or drink. I don’t think its fair .
Good
Good hotel, more fornñ events and team building but good enough
Minibar in the room was locked. Room keys did not work had to swap them twice. Complimetary coffee in the room was limited to the first night only on a multiple night stay. The bar had some liquor bottles prices 3 or 4 times over market value. The hotel is really nice, but for the price they are changing per room complimentary coffee and razors should be a norm. Charging for these items made it felt cheap as if we were nickeled and dimed for everything.
Breakfast was great! Pools were great! Travelled with 2 yo plenty of activities for him between play ground, trampoline and pools. Rooms spacious! We would definitely return. Resort was undergoing construction/maintenance but this did not bother us one bit. Not being able to bring food in didn’t bother us either.
.
Great food options. Good spa services.
To expensive for what they offer.
The bed are old and noisy
There are many other nicest palaces for a lot less price.
If you loose the Parkin pass they charge $15 just to let you go.
Is staying at this property is always a pleasure very colonial and he has a good relaxing viveto it
