We stayed at this hotel with our family for five days, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked through the entrance, we were greeted with a beautiful view of the water. The breakfast every morning was delicious, and the staff was always so welcoming and friendly.
We also really enjoyed the swim-up pool bar whenever we weren’t spending time on the beach. Our room had an amazing view of the beach, and one of my favorite parts was waking up, grabbing my coffee, and stepping out onto the patio to enjoy the view.
We had such a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing family getaway.

Friendly staff, great location, close to sights, beach and restaurants. Approximately 30 minutes to South Padre Island. We had a large corner room, with 2 good sized queen beds, room also had a small sofa, which could easily be used as a single bed for a kid.
Honest Review
Unfortunately, my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Corpus Christi was very disappointing. While I was sleeping, the hotel alarm went off, and we had to evacuate the entire hotel. We later learned that the alarm had been triggered by a guest. What was especially disappointing was the lack of communication afterward—there was no apology or explanation from management.
The room cleanliness was also an issue. I had to call the front desk twice because the room had not been cleaned. Apparently, housekeeping is not provided every day, which was not clearly communicated to me. Even after requesting service, it took multiple complaints before someone finally came to clean the room.
For a Hilton property, I expected much better communication, cleanliness, and customer service. The experience was far below what I would expect from the DoubleTree brand.
