Hotel was nice and close to the beach. The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful.
The Neighbourhood wasn’t the best and there wasn’t a lot around.
Friendly staff- waterfront
Dated rooms, fixtures
Great location right next to the USS Lexington. Since it is the main attraction in Corpus Christi, no location can be better. The facilities are very decent. The beach alis right there, outside the back doors, super convenient. The pool area is good. Considering the price, it is good value for money. Great, but also nothing too over the top.
Some loud people might party at night outside, nothing you can do about it. Not ideal for people with little children. But if you are one of the party people then all is cool.
Everything was great people were great and the rooms clean
Beds were alittle hard but everything else was great
I had the best room and best view as far as I'm concerned room 729 looked over EVERYTHING!
I worked Hyatt Hill country in San Antonio and am kinda a clean freak so the most disturbing thing for me an tried my best to over look was the dirt n hair not mine still laying around the bathroom floor corners and under the drapes was dirt dust n hair outside was a Gatorade bottle that someone spit tobacco in of sorts. I asked for the vacuum up front n did it myself😬. But I loved 🥰 every minute of it waking up in middle of night n sitting on the balcony watching the waves this autism mom of 20 years needed this sooo much
Very clean easy location professional courteous staff
The parking not enough parking available
Close to the water, clean. Nice view
Some of the outlets in the room did not work.
We liked the pool, the excess to the beach and fishing even though the sidewalk was a mess….the food and drinks were good but too expensive, for us old ladies….one vacation a year I wanted beachfront I got beach side! I was upset, ruined my vacation.
The carpets no locks on bathroom door nor ventilation
It’s near the beach which is what we wanted
Our AC went out it was 80 degrees in our room for a few hours while it was fixed and they brought us fans we got no credit for having these issues which I felt would a been a valid reason to get a partial credit on what we paid.
Starbucks was never opened it said go to the bar to order but no one would ever be there front desk told me to go to the bar and literally sat there like 15 min and no one showed. Before leaving one of the main people did comp us a free Starbucks drink for that issue but nothing was done regarding the room aside from the front desk saying oh ya we heard about that last night…
The bay view, customer service
We were on the 4th floor with bay view and the roof for the bottom floors/resturaunt blocked the view of the walk/beach.
The Beach out the back door, and hot tub
We were told free breakfast each day for out stay. This was not true, first morning yes, and it was nice, second day we had to pay almost $40.
"Upgraded" room - had a lovely view of the bay and the Lexington. Got to see the moon rise. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great waitress at morning breakfast.
Paying for parking was somewhat complicated. Had to pay using bar code on a separate app. Was easy to use and worked without any difficulty - but still prefer just including parking in the bill. The hotel may need to do this because they are right on the beach and I am guessing the public (who aren't staying at the hotel) may also use the parking lot.
