I like the location the breakfast is it was 80% clean
I did and like that the third floor elevator button was broken. It was not working. The cleaning crew came the day I was leaving and asked for me was my room ready to be clean and I still have 30 minutes before I needed to check out
Indoors the pool was great for the grandkids that came bye.
Parking was tight hardly any parking space. Elite member save me from driving around looking for a spot.
More attention need to be paid to the cleanliness of the breakfast food area. When it is very busy during morning breakfast their needs to be more that one person attending to that area. Preparing the food and cleaning the food area require more that one person.
The handicap accessible room (103) never has enough towels (I always have to request them). The lip and shower curtain in the shower does not keep water from running all over the floor when used by the handicapped. The carpet could stand to be cleaned more often.
The location is fine, right off highway 95. The staff was friendly and accommodating, except in the morning when they were overwhelmed by a bus tour group from Canada. Breakfast was fine. Clean venue
Canadian Bus Tour made breakfast crowded and busy, staff was overwhelmed. I would have waited until the tour group left if I knew of the strain on breakfast.

Outdated and not clean. I wouldn't stay here again nor could I recommend this location. I was so disappointed because I recently stayed at a location in Jacksonville NC and that place was wonderful.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wilson-Downtown by IHG from 2/17/26–2/22/26, and this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had.
I arrived late due to flight delays and went straight to bed. The next morning, I realized the shower in Room 301 had not been cleaned properly. I showed the front desk photos and was moved to Room 417. After carrying my luggage to the new room, I found what appeared to be human vomit on the carpet beside the beds.
When I went back downstairs, staff openly stated that Room 417 should never have been assigned because housekeeping had not cleaned vomit from the previous guest. That was extremely disturbing and unacceptable.
I was moved again to Room 517 and had to transport my luggage for the second time within 24 hours. While that room was at least sanitary, the inconvenience and stress were unnecessary.
I do want to acknowledge that the front desk staff member I initially worked with, who was a woman, was respectful, patient, and professional throughout the situation. The breakfast was also good.
However, during my initial conversation with one of the managers, he was extremely rude and dismissive when I expressed my concerns. No woman should be spoken to or treated in that manner for raising legitimate issues about cleanliness and safety. I was verbally told I would be compensated for one night, but that never happened, and communication between the hotel and Booking.com was inconsistent.
Cleanliness and professionalism are basic expectations. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet either standard. I will never stay at this location again.

I have back issues and although the beds are great I just prefer more firm mattress
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and comforting.
No serious complaints at all, but sometimes the buttons on the elevator weren't responsive.
