Excellent place to stay, staff is amazing, place is located in a heavily spot
What a great location! Right on the water. Tiburon is adorable. Great for a getaway! The fireplace in the room is a great bonus plus the wine in lobby. Really nice touch.
It was a little challenging to control the thermostat. The room has a mini-split and I had to turn it to 85 to get it to heat the room on a cold evening.
Despite living in the Bay Area for many years, we had never been to Tiburon. We chose this hotel for a long weekend "kick back and do nothing" break." It was a great choice. The hotel is right on the Bay with a large deck that was perfect for reading a book or watching the world go by. Everyone was very nice. The room was spacious and clean with a fireplace (that we did not use because it was so warm). The property seemed to be well-maintained. There are coffee/water stations on each floor and they get the Chronicle and NY Times in the morning. Restaurants are within easy walking distance. The breakfast is OK, although there was something missing on each day's order (Sunday it was the cutlery and napkins). They need to work on that. All in all, we would definitely stay there again in in Tiburon.
This hotel overlooks the bay and its steps to the ferry that goes to angel Island, and to San Francisco. They make you feel welcome from the desk in the front to the maintenance to the housekeeping. Everyone is helpful and friendly instead of going to a room with a bunch of strangers, and he served a stale buffet, this hotel provides a custom continental breakfast for each of you every morning where you’re free to eat in your room or sit out on their beautiful deck overlooking the harbor and the most incredible skyline of San Francisco in the background I love the cookies in the evening the pastries that are different every day with extra ones at the desk if you’re still hungry, they have a happy hour in the evening where they serve really good wine they validate your parking so which would be typically I think $20 is free if you’re at the hotel as is the fitness center down the street
I think the only thing I really didn’t like was that we had a very very tiny deck that really just fit one person and the neighbors deck faced our, and if their door was open, you could see right into their room and the only thing dividing it was a plexiglass divider so it wasn’t very private
Meticulous! Great views of the SF bay from our room.
The property is small and works at keeping guests happy.
Our floor was uneven, to the point of keeping our balance. Very weird.
Breakfast was great and always on time. Convenience of restaurants, walk, CVS, market; all nearby was great!

Lovely wine and cheese Happy Hour every day and "Breakfast in Bed," complimentary Continental breakfast is delivered to your door (selections can be made on a form and placed on the door). Though not all rooms have a panoramic view, there is a gorgeous communal desk right on the bay with a magnificent view of San Francisco and the Bay. Ferry rides to the City and Angel Island are right next door.
The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Our stay is always restful and peaceful. We recommend the hotel as a perfect stay in San Francisco area.
Absolutely amazing experience. The hotel was beautiful and the service was even better. Josh at the front desk went above and beyond. His hospitality made us feel so comfortable providing dinner recommendations. He even grabbed my boyfriend a glass of milk with the complimentary cookies. We forgot our toothbrushes at home. And Josh was at our room within 1 minute with 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste. Immaculate service. Will be back! Thanks Josh.
The staff is so kind and helpful! Joshua went above and beyond to help us all. There are 15 of us! Waters Edge is a great place to stay. The town of Tiburon is very walkable and the ships and restaurants are a wonderful mix.
Our rooms all had great views and the back upstairs deck is Devine!
Breakfast brought in to your s room is an extra special treat. GO!
We love Waters Edge, and try to come twice a year. The main reason is to see Tom. He is such a great person and I hope the company realizes what he brings to the hotel.
We had a poor room #207, it did not have a view, which we had when we visited in the summer. No worries, we still had a great time. We hung in the lobby with Tom and played scrabble.
The trip was fabulous because the service was impeccable. Marie at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Loved the viewing deck and happy hour ! Fire in the fireplace made our whole experience cosy! I highly recommend it !
Location.
An outdoor jacuzzi would have been awesome by the outdoor fireplace! The large bathroom space could use some art to cheer up the gray walls.
Loved this quaint little town! Loved Marie who made us feel so welcome. We loved all the amenities. Wine and cheese at 5:00, Scrabble by the fireplace. A warm blanket on the patio with a fire pit and the ocean view. Marie was there for all our needs! She is superwoman super host! Breakfast in bed, chocolates at every turn. The town is just adorable!
Beautiful hotel, right on the water and in town, very close to restaurants, shops, and the ferry to SF. Room was comfortable, cozy bed, and fine continental breakfast in your room or take it to the deck, next to the fire pit, overlooking the bay. Perfect!!
