Grand Beach Resort Hotel

Stayed one evening.

Excellent stay! Pool/hot tub area was great! Loved the way breakfast was delivered to room each morning. Beds were super comfy~room was spacious and very clean. Great place to stay!

Very friendly front staff. She was great. Also the gentleman that helped us find our room and a luggage cart. I did have a room with a beach view reserved. But when I pulled in it was gone. When I went to finalize the booking. So I am assuming that was on my part.

I was hesitant to book this property because the price was low for the area but the pictures looked nice. Upon walking in to the lobby we knew it was a good choice. The front desk person was helpful and welcoming, room was very clean and we loved looking over the beach.

This is a very nice resort. The view of the bay from the balcony is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean. The only thing they could improve on is the communication regarding when you book multiple days they only enter the room every 3 days unless you let them know otherwise. I was fortunate to see the sticker on the bathroom mirror and asked at the desk to have the room and towels reset but if I had not noticed it I would have been very disappointed. I expect to have everything done while I'm on vacation. They we more than pleasant with the request and the room was perfect both days. I do feel this should be mentioned upon check-in though. We definitely will stay here again.

The rooms are spacious,. It was convenient to have adjoining rooms. The microwave and refrigerator came in handy. We enjoyed the breakfast choices delivered to the door each morning. The balconys had a nice sized tables and the view was great! Definitely recommend.

Fun, comfortable stay

Very good overall, although we are seniors and did not use the exercise or pool opportunities. Had some minor confusion regarding the room internet connection. Also we were surprised that the hotel did not offer dinners, and the recommended outside source had only limited offerings like fancy burgers etc.

Room and view of the lake was wonderful!

Good clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is a letdown. Easy access to lake shore. Would recommend it.

Nice views clean hotel, perfect pool

The front desk girl was top notch!: Our room was clean, comfortable and very nicely appointed. Even the soaps, etc were above the normal. Highly recommend.

Location is very nice right at the beach.
Breakfast is in a box, that was a bad surprise.
Room service knocked at 830 am. That was really bad.

Breakfast included. Mediocre. Delivered to the room. You choose the night before. Was not expecting a cold breakfast sandwich that I had to cook myself in the microwave. A little pricey for a Wednesday night during the off season, but the staff that we encountered were pleasant and kind. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Hottub / pool area clean. Beach area too cold to use but chairs were set up and available weather pending. We paid for a beach view thinking we would see a sunset or sunrise, not the right angle, but still a very pretty view.

Convenient to airport. Picking up a family member on a late night flight, it was nice to turn it into a staycation at this hotel. Close to great restaurants and relaxing pool/hot tub in the evening. I was most impressed with the breakfast delivery at my preferred time. It was well balanced and yummy.

We enjoyed a great stay at the hotel. The room service breakfast was a great perk. The pool and hot tub were great. Its proximity to town and beautiful waterfront views were a bonus. We’ll come back!

Clean

This hotel is lovely! The rooms are large and comfortable with a small refrigerator and a microwave. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast menu and that it was delivered to my room on time. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here if in Traverse City.
