The bed was great. We sleep very comfortably.
The continental breakfast was lacking. We got down there in plenty of time but two of the three hot pans were empty. They had trouble with a breaker tripping in the kitchen causing a delay in the food.
Overall it served its purpose very well the breakfast issue didn’t deter us.
The staff was very accommodating. I would definitely stay again. Great price for a one night stay.
Not a bad place to stay. However it could definitely used a lot more cleaning
Lock didn’t work on door, dingy towels, overall run down and not like pictures.
For an economy hotel it was a great place to stay. Rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was very nice and friendly. I only had 2 complaints for the 2 night stay. The refrigerator in the room did not work at all. The free hot breakfast was awesome on Saturday morning. Sunday morning there was no breakfast, conveniently there's a Dennys just down the street. Overall a good economy hotel. It is possible that I would stay there again.
convenience of getting closeness to our venue, night staff was unfriendly we were in a room we asked for bedding for fold out bed and the front desk lady snapped and said we have no pillows no blankets, she could have responded nicely in a customer service manner all we did was ask. I also had booked 2 rooms we never used the other room but since there were no pillows no blankets we borrowed a pillow and a blanket from the other room and returned it in the morning. ( that is all the other room 312 was ever used for which is crazy) the morning breakfast there was no coffee and no juice at 8:30 in the morning no syrup for the french toast just a empty container so we checked out and went to dennys. next time we will book a named hotel. there was a shooting next door also not a safe area
The hotel recently changed, so maybe it’s not surprise the staff isn’t organized and communicating. During a two night stay and late check out, we were surprised twice by room service entering the room while we inside. The towels were what we can only assume to be prison quality. The faucets are equipped with water savers that concentrate the spray so much, that the water splashes everywhere after hitting your hands. I am not sure why the king sized bed has three pillows on it?
Overall, it seems like cost cutting measures got the best of this hotel, which still needs more renovations since changing brands/owners.
Room rug and bathroom were gross.
Door didn’t lock. Homeless people in the halls. Police were called as guests bullied a homeless man.
property was run down due to maintaing issues.
This property has clearly seen neglect from the owners. With these prices, it is unacceptable to have this old of carpet where I beg all of you to never walk barefoot on. The showers and room decor are ancient as well, it is good for half the price of listing and should include that floor#1 indeed has roaches running from room to room in the hallway. It seems to be what would be an attempt at a decent hotel and has potential but those profits are not being used to treat the customers with modern and clean essentials (floors). The bed was ok, no bedbugs and the mattress seemed newer, but the rest of the furniture is so outdated I would also advise you to not sit in the armchairs. The 40+ year old stains on them, albeit a dark fabric, are clearly visible. Fridge in my room was broken, the ice machines are all broken.
With that said, the staff seem to be doing what they can with what they have and are very friendly and helpful. The maintenance service guy is also great and clearly has his hands full. I would recommend the corporate owners of this establishment to stop neglecting a necessary full remodeling.
It was terrible experience. Bathroom showers doesn't work and I called multiple times to fix but they were telling we can fix but they wouldn't fix. We vacated one day early. We took shower with water bottle. I don't recommend anybody to stay there.
This former Holiday Inn Express likely recently changed hands to become
There was no room available, even though I already had paid my reservation in advance. The front desk clerk didn’t offer to help me find other lodging, help me initiate a refund, or help in any other way. Just basically “there is no room available for you, bye bye.”
Twice in the past, I’ve had hotels that were unable to give me the room I had reserved, though never a prepaid one. In both cases, they had already arranged a room at another nearby hotel for me before I even arrived. One fully covered the cost of the other hotel’s room and charged me nothing. The other covered the price difference between their hotel and the other one. In short, they did what they could to “make it right”. This hotel, however, did nothing, not even the bare minimum. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.
As one who has worked in the hotel industry for 9 years, I will say that it was not that bad but they really should work on the parking lot, The lighting around the property, and the overall condition around the property is not really inviting. If there were not cars in the parking lot you would have thought the hotel was closed down. But I will say the front desk did a really good job checking me in, The room was not bad at all I had no issues with the room, but the fact that the ice machine was down and I was told to go to a different building to get ice that is not good. There was a number of people walking in and out from the streets which is not the best look when they are hanging out in the lobby. But again I would stay there again just for a one or two night overstay visit it's okay.
This property was okay to stay to rest. It was a little confusing to find the place, as it didnt have a sign on thr building. Not much as far as amenities. Old building, but very friendly staff. The room felt cozy and safe.
We had 2 different rooms during our 2 night stay. The first room had hair in the tub, hair in the bed, a grocery bag in a drawer, a stain on the pillows, and a dirty tissue on the night stand. Room 2 had hair in the bed, fries and dirt under the chair cushion, and dead bugs in the bathroom in a corner on the floor. I wanted a full refund and was only given a partial. This is unacceptable.
Customer service are polite and stay out of your business. I can be a little loud and I have visitors a lot and I have not received any complaints or reprimands from the staff or managers or anyone.
Hotel being poorly maintained. main floor & hallway rugs dirty, elevator dirty floor has not been cleaned and in disrepair. Overall appearance shows lack of maintenance.
