Pros:

The staff were amazing! I witnessed another guest rip into a staff member about how unhappy he was with the lifts, eye rolling and trying to get my attention while I was waiting form him to finish his rant. I cannot applaude this staff remember more, the guest was an idiot and an oxygen thief. Go mantra for their staff. Exceptional.

Cons:

Ok so the lifts were a little frustrating but benign worked on so all good.

Large room in a very good location. Meeting a friendly staff both at check-in/out and at breakfast
Pros:

The breakfast was good with almost everything we could think of. Yogurt could be offered without sugar and some includes top notch coffee.
Amazing to find washing machines available for guests

Cons:

Renovation work was going while we were there

Great stay, great location, friendly staff.
Pros:

Very friendly staff, clean, tidy and spacious rooms, great location in the city.

Cons:

Bad smell of sewage in lobby area. Lifts are under maintenance with a limit of 300kg per lift.l and no stair access from lobby. Needed to park in the UPark behind the hotel but no direct access - need to walk around the block. But all in all was still a great and comfortable stay despite these inconveniences.

Great stay, great location, friendly staff, would recommend despite some minor negatives.
Pros:

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and very spacious suites. Reception was generous with late checkout time.

Cons:

There is a smell of sewage in the lobby area (but not in rooms). Lifts are presently under maintenance with a limit of 3 persons or 300kg max and there are no accessible stairs from the lift/lobby area. We also reserved a king suite, but when we got to our room it was made up as two seperate single beds despite being checked in as a king suite (we just put up with it because we checked in late at night).

Pros:

Mantra has a high standard of comfort, cleaniness and friendly staff I have become familiar with, which I grateful for.
We stayed in a suit and it's was perfect. We have food facilities and large bedroom and large bedroom. Coming from Canberra we have brought a lot of gear with us and the space allowed us to become securite within the suit.
Thank you Mantra, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pros:

Lovely clean rooms with comfy beds in a great location with great staff and secure parking. Had a great 2 bedroom suite overlooking the park for part of our stay as our son joined us for a few days. Then had a lovely studio suite for the two of us which was great and had help from staff to move to our new room too. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were great.

Broken down lift and amount of people in lift made it frustrating at times.
We had a hire car and parking out the front was cut in half due to roadworks about to begin, making it hard to get a car spot outside or within neighbourhood block

I cannot fault this hotel!!! We now stay there every time we go to Adelaide. The staff are super friendly and the facilities are fantastic considering the low price

Lovely apart from the lift situation.
Pros:

Room was nice, great location and had an omelette bar for breakfast.

Cons:

The lift kept breaking down without an alternative staircase to use. People had to queue for ages and felt very uncomfortable getting in it, felt unsafe. Staff gave mixed messages about it, some saying they had maintenance coming out and some claiming it was working fine.
