I loved the amenities and friendly staff.
I don’t have any dislikes.
Great staff made you feel welcome and they were eager to help. I chose the hotel for the location as it was walking distance to the theater we were attending.
The riverfront area is not what it used to be. There are some clubs and things downtown but the riverfront shops and restaurants are limited. Overall, very expensive for not too much value. Parking and breakfast are additional expenses.
Loved the fast check in process. Bar had great service. Golfcart taxis and boat ferry to and from the concert were amazing.
Room was very clean and stocked. View of the river wasn't perfect but was nice to be able to see the water and watch the sun with the bridge.
The valet took a while to get our vehicle. I will most likely use self-parking from now on. This is the second time since February I have stayed at this location, and the valet was not "speedy" either time. I do not believe it had anything to do with the staff. They were very nice and friendly, I think it was due to the high volume of people using valet and leaving at the same time.
Cleanliness and location.
Food was good, but pricy.
The king mattress was old, lumpy and hard.
Loved everything about this property. Anytime I visit Jacksonville we stay here
nothing
Convenient
The AC in the room didn’t work well
Truely one of the BEST experiences at one of the BEST Hotels. From the minute we arrived the staff treated my wife, and I like we were the guest of honor. The Gym was a state-of-the-art facility and very clean. No Doubt we were impressed.
Excellent hotel & very close to Vystar Arena. We went for the Eric Church concert & were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. Food at the bar was very good.
I stayed at the Hyatt Riverfront on a recent business trip and had a great experience. The hotel is bright, clean, and very well maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout my stay.
Check-in was smooth. Natalia was welcoming and efficient, and Jeff quickly assisted with a few minor issues. I was also impressed that housekeeping responded directly when I had questions.
My room was very comfortable, quiet, and had a great view of the river and city lights. I slept well with no noise issues at all. The only minor downside was that the room tended to get a little too cold and was somewhat hard to regulate.
The location was ideal for business, with an easy walk to the office and some unique restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to other travelers.
We celebrated our anniversary here and were blown away by the experience! General Manager Jeff Thompson reached out before our arrival to ensure everything was perfect, making us feel truly valued. Upon check-in, we were surprised with a suite upgrade, a bottle of wine, and a beautiful anniversary-themed decoration. We also loved the riverfront view, where we watched the bridge lower for a passing train - a uniquely memorable moment. The entire team went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration unforgettable.
The parking garage was terrible! Our truck became stuck under a beam. We asked to speak to multiple people and kept getting the runaround. We have damage to the top of our truck which was below height limit.
The location and the view was wonderful.
The carpet in the halls and the room was dirty and it smelled. I would suggest removing the carpet.
The staff at check-in was lovely and promised a
great view, but the rooms didn't live up to the expectations. My first room on the 14th floor smelled like mildew and was way too hot. After I complained, they moved me to the 11th floor. While that room was slightly better, it was still falling apart—the tile in the tub was peeling and the toilet backed up.
The hallways are also pretty gross; they’re hot and smell weird until you get to the elevators. Plus, the microwave in the hall was broken the whole time. For what they charge, this place really needs a renovation.
