The bistro restaurant at the hotel will be closed from November 20, 2025-January 4, 2026. Meals, including breakfast will not be available during this time.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I can tell you, if I came to DC again, I would check into this same hotel. It's quiet and peaceful.
Pros:

Polite and helpful staff, cleanliness in the rooms and hotel. There are recreation areas not only in the hotel, but also on the university area. Convenient bus schedule that takes you to Union Station, the main artery of the city, free of charge. It is safe to walk around the university grounds where the hotel is located, as there is a police car shuttling around

Fantastic place to stay. close to the city.
Pros:

Beautiful facilities.......the room was fantastic, the bed was so comfortable!

Breakfast was great!

Getting into the campus on off hours, gate was locked.

Pros:

Location was very good. Quiet area being within university campus. Staff were excellent, especially Andre who helped us a lot.

Cons:

Could be difficult getting in and out of campus when walking as many of gates were locked. Just had to walk back to main gate.

Super location und sehr große, saubere Zimmer.
Pros:

Die Lage war super; das Hotel liegt auf einem Unicampus für Gehörlose. Die Gegend ist absolut schön und sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Es gab viel Platz für Koffer und zum Sitzen und Arbeiten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Die Dauerbelüftung war sehr laut und ließ sich nicht abstellen, ebenso die Lüftung im Bad. Als ich das an der Reception gemeldet habe, wurde direkt ein Handwerker vorbeigeschickt, der die Lüftung zugeklebt hat, was das Problem absolut gelöst hat und wodurch es wieder leise im Raum war.

Pros:

Gallaunder University is on campus. There are historical buildings. It's quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the price is reasonable. It's clean. The area around the campus is very central, but one should be a little careful at night. There are many poor black people.
