Puri Wulandari a Boutique Resort and Spa

We stayed as a family (kids 11 and 13 so not little - not sure I’d recommend to young children as steep drops etc.) and the hotel is simply stunning. I had looked at the other 5* in the area and this was better priced and i don’t think we would have gotten a more stunning and peaceful outlook elsewhere. The staff were lovely and good fabulous too. And the spa! Very easy to visit/explore Ubud too but truly a piece of relaxation !

It’s an absolutely amazing and beautiful place! Very perfect for honeymoon and families, great location and setup calm within the jungles, accessible to many other activities nearby. Amazing room and facilities and really really really kind wonderful staff (Rudy is absolutely wonderful <3). Very worth of every penny and would be back again later of course!

Puri Wulandari is a Beautiful Resort nestle in Ubud . The staff were wonderful , we stayed for a week for my Birthday . They made it special for me . Spa treatment was very relaxing . Food was amazing everything about the resort was 10/10 . Would happy to come back and stay there with the Family .

An exceptional stay in Ubud — truly beyond beautiful in every sense.

Perfectly tucked away in the heart of Ubud, the property offers a rare balance of privacy and accessibility: surrounded by lush nature and complete tranquility, yet still close enough to explore everything the area has to offer. Waking up here feels like being immersed in a real jungle, while still enjoying a refined sense of comfort, elegance, and modern ease.

The villa itself was stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, with breathtaking views and a private pool that made the experience feel even more special. Every detail felt carefully considered, both aesthetically and functionally.

The level of service was impeccable and truly 10/10. The team is incredibly attentive, anticipating needs before they are even expressed, and consistently going above and beyond. Thoughtful traditional touches and unexpected treats added a unique and authentic charm to the stay.

The food was outstanding, with a great variety of cuisine. Breakfast quickly became one of my favorite daily rituals — beautifully presented, delicious, and always something to look forward to.

Everything was maintained to the highest standard, with impeccable cleanliness and attentive housekeeping twice a day. The atmosphere throughout the property remained peaceful and serene, with full transparency from the hotel regarding any local ceremonies, though during my stay it was completely quiet.

Overall, the experience felt seamless and elevated in every way — absolutely worth it for the level of quality, service, and attention to detail.

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of exceptional, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to the outstanding service we received throughout our time there.

We would especially like to recognize Rudy, our butler, who truly went above and beyond on multiple occasions. He was consistently polite, professional, and incredibly informative always ready with helpful suggestions and quick to assist with anything we needed. What stood out most was how he made us feel like priority guests at all times. No request ever felt too small, and his attention to detail made our stay smooth, relaxing, and memorable.

One of the most unforgettable moments of our stay was the incredible birthday surprise they created for my wife. We had simply mentioned her birthday in passing and spent most of the day out exploring Bali. When we returned to the villa, we requested some utensils nothing out of the ordinary. But when the team arrived, they completely surprised us by bringing a personalized birthday cake along with the utensils.

What made it even more special was that they didn’t just drop it off they created a full experience. The staff came in wearing beautiful cultural attire, singing “Happy Birthday,” accompanied by traditional umbrellas and drums. It was joyful, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. The level of effort and care they put into that moment meant so much to us.

The entire villa team contributed to an atmosphere of genuine hospitality, but Rudy’s leadership and attentiveness truly stood out.

We are incredibly grateful for this experience and would absolutely return. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a personalized, thoughtful, and unforgettable stay.

Had an amazing experience living here

Great resort. Very relaxing. And very private. We had our own pool which was great and it was warm enough to swim in (not all private pools are like that in other resorts). The staff were lovely. Very friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.

Excellent resort! Hard to leave. The service was excellent and everyone was so attentive. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of options. The villa was exceptional with a private pool and outdoor living space.

Nestled in amongst the terraced rice paddies lies this tranquil & relaxing resort.
I was fortunate enough to be in beautiful pool villa & the service of the staff were amazing.
The pool villa was extremely relaxing & we were treated to daily traditional Balinese afternoon tea snacks

Beautiful resort, friendly and attentive staff, delicious food and a tranquil setting. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our two bedroom villa was excellent, huge bathrooms off each bedroom with indoor and outdoor showers, sunken bath with a view of the jungle and Ayung river below. Would highly recommend to all.

We had an unforgettable stay at Puri Wulandari Boutique SPA Resort. The villa was stunning, offering exceptional privacy and a true feeling of being immersed in nature. The service was outstanding — attentive yet never intrusive, almost invisible. A clear 10/10.
Breakfasts were perfect and eclectic. Afternoon tea deserves special praise: beautifully presented snacks and desserts, refined details, and impeccable service.
We tried both restaurants. The lower restaurant did not impress us, but the Signature Restaurant was on a completely different level. Excellent beef tartare, very good salmon tartare, and homemade lobster pasta truly worth attention. Lamb chops could be better, but overall the experience was very enjoyable.
One detail that genuinely surprised us was the coffee — both at breakfast and in the villa. For a boutique resort of this level, the absence of a quality coffee machine and capsules feels out of place. The in-villa tea selection was also disappointing: only basic black tea bags. A high-quality green tea would elevate the experience significantly.
A very touching and unexpected birthday greeting made our stay even more special, especially as we had not informed the resort in advance.
Despite these small details, we would definitely return and highly recommend this resort.

The Management and Staff are truly exeptional and of a high calibre that delivers a personal, high quality and perfected service throughout.

The Villas are simply perfect and well presented in a stunning location providing exeptional views.

They deliver a friendly, personal and exeptional service where nothing is too much trouble. This included all services not forgetting such the Spa, Restaurants and Transportation.

This is a very relaxing location, a special place and one we will both cherish and re visit.
