Spacious rooms. My flight got cancelled while i was on my way to the airport....i turned around and checked back in for another night. both rooms I got were excellent and big.

though the rooms I stayed in seemed to have been refurbished, some of the appliances in the bathroom still looked a bit outdated. but overall, it was an excellent expecience.
I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding my recent three-night stay at Hilton London Angel Islington, where I was assigned Room 260. Unfortunately, my experience fell significantly below the standard I reasonably expected from a Hilton property.
On the first night of my stay, I reported by phone that the air-conditioning system in Room 260 was not functioning. I requested to change rooms, but this request was not accommodated. Although a member of staff eventually brought a fan to my room, it took approximately thirty minutes for even this temporary measure to be provided.
More concerningly, over the following two days, the hotel appeared to take no meaningful follow-up action. No member of staff contacted me to discuss a room change or any proper remedy, and no maintenance team came to inspect or repair the air-conditioning system. The fan allowed me to get through the nights only barely, but it was clearly not an adequate substitute for a working air-conditioning system, especially given that I chose this Hilton property specifically because I expected reliable facilities, including a properly functioning climate-control system.
As a result, my comfort was materially affected throughout the stay. My concern is not simply that a technical fault occurred, but that my complaint and request for assistance were effectively ignored after the first night. This lack of follow-up made me feel that my concern was not taken seriously.
At check-out, I raised this issue again with a member of staff, or possibly the duty manager, who agreed to offer me a 10% discount on my next stay. However, to date, I have not received any email confirmation, voucher, code, or written record of this offer. This has added to my disappointment, as even the promised gesture of goodwill has not been honoured.
Overall, the service I received was not consistent with Hilton’s reputation or the price due to the poor handling of this issue. I would appreciate a meaningful response.

Very nice place tucked away in a corner of Angel. Leslie the attendant in the dining room was particularly brilliant and friendly. The included breakfast is quite nice with an omelette chef and all - done that is too often neglected these days in place of runny scramble eggs - bravo. I only give it a 4/5 before of the price variability - £145 on the Sunday then peaking at £365 on the coming Tuesday with expected 40° temps. Is it gouging or just London in the summer? Regardless, nice place with a convenient location, firm and good beds, quiet environment.

One night stay 4th June - appreciated the more check in diamond member upgrade to a suite. Stayed several times previously and convenience to my work requirements.
The WiFi wasn’t an issue, breakfast was all fine and standard fare with pleasant enough service. The Exec lounge was open when coffee bursts were needed and the small gym is ok too.
The issue was cleanliness in the room which clearly hadn’t been used or perhaps cleaned properly as it had dust spread around. When you turned the bedside lights on it wasn’t hard to spot. No big deal. No huge deal that hospitality tray only had one type of tea bag which I don’t drink.
The issues ere after I got a tea bag from the lounge and picked the kettle up…that clearly hadn’t had a clean recently. So I cleaned it. Next was when I was pouring the water into the mug.
One spoon was baked in leftover something. Ok didn’t come off when washed. There’s another spoon. Oh that’s just as caked.
Went down to show the offenders and picture of the dirt to the DM.
Not after anything just a friendly guest trying to ensure next guest may not be friendly.
The DM said I would be happy to provide you service recovery points by way of making it right.
Two weeks on they haven’t come - so please keep them as I refuse to have them.
Hopefully things get better. Out of courtesy I haven’t posted the pic of the two spoons….that would be damaging.

We were told we had breakfast included in our stay when we checked in but later found out once we’d eaten breakfast the next morning, we had been charged for it additionally.
Good location for what I was doing
Air conditioning didn’t work. I called Guest Services and Reception but no answer. Room was clean and nice but too hot! Bar shut at 11!
