Lovely proximity for restaurants and lagoon, but needs upgrades in rooms.
Pros:

Close proximity to the Esplanade and lagoon.

Cons:

Room smelt due to the aircon needing cleaning. Outdoor pool was freezing even though it was 31 degrees, and normal pool entrance was out of order, meaning having to navigate through all back offices of the Mantra. Rooms are looking tired and pool towels that were supplied were worn and torn. Fabulous location with lots of opportunities to improve. Front reception staff wonderful.

We have stayed two years in a row now and love the location so handy for everything

Cons:

The only thing was 625 room had a disgusting smell as soon as you walked in and even after being sprayed it still stunk. The bedroom AC was leaking water into the carpet and the shower/ bath tap needing some repairs. I just feel if your staying a week or a few days the offer for fresh towels , toilet rolls etc would be nice as it’s a lot of money spent to stay there .
