We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel and spa. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We were welcomed on arrival and given a tour of all the facilities. The sunsets from the restaurant terrace were outstanding. The hotel is quiet and, although some way out of the centre of Cape Town the free shuttle bus offers a good service for those who wish to visit the city. Although the Leopard Bar can become rather crowded there are other spaces where one can enjoy a quiet drink. Service in the restaurant was first class and the unexpected spectacular dry ice infused sorbet was a real surprise.
An amazing experience. So well looked after by the whole team of staff. An absolutely joyful experience. It was my husband's birthday and he was treated to several surprises. Attention was given to every fine detail to make a wonderful and memorable stay. We look forward to returning in the near future.
Having to leave.
Service was poor
My husband and I have just stayed three nights at the Twelve Apostles.
From arriving to departing we had a great stay. Every corner is immaculate, inside and outside. The hotel had all you could want…..lovely towels and bedding, turn down, 24 hour gym ( I used the gym every day and it had great equipment) and a great shuttle service.
Breakfast was excellent, the fruit amazing and choices of cooked, salad, pancakes etc. We had lunch in the cafe once and dinner in the Leopards Bar twice, again excellent.
The nicest thing about this hotel are the staff. Always smiling and ready to help, too many to mention but I have to mention Lu-Lu who was one of the Shuttle Drivers. He was an encyclopaedia of knowledge about everything and we so enjoyed our journeys with him.
Hopefully we will return to this lovely hotel and thanks to everyone for looking after us.
I am so sorry to report such a bad review but having been welcomed as non-residents for a drink in the Leopard Bar, following a recommendation from great friends, our experience then took a bad turn. Whilst we were given a drinks menu we had to wait for at least 15 minutes before we were able to finally able to attract someone to take our order. Following another 10-15 minute wait our order … or should I say part of our order… arrived. The glass of wine was missing, they then had to come back and ask which wine & eventually on the 3rd attempt a glass of wine was poured. A bottle of water also had to be requested 3 times and then there was a dispute over the fact that we had ordered a large beer and they said it was only a small one.
I did my best to explain our poor service experience to the head waiter who said sorry several times. I said that honestly it was the worst experience I had had in the whole of South Africa. We asked for the bill and to add insult to injury we had to ask for this 3 times as well.
3rd time here -now our favourite to acclimatise for 2-3 days after long distance flight to south africa .Fantastic dramatic sea front location with views back to capetown -ask for sea view room .Rooms are very comfortable -everything yo want and spotless with excellent chamber maid service .
Main restaurant -Azure-is generally where breakfast is served -great buffet and veranda to eat outside overlooking sea -it also is main restaurant for dinner -good menu oysters great malay curries -mot easy to find with alcohol as most cape malay restaurants are halal -
However Azure was closed for our visit as they had had catastrophic flood from burst water -hotel dealt with it in outstanding way using large function room next door as temporary home for both breakfast and dinner -You couldn't see difference in service -great credit to management to pull this off at short notice --this included the favourite instagram opportunities for sunset pictures!
Leopard bar on top floor offers spectacular views over sea serves light snacks and great drinks !
Final eatery is Cafe Grill -informal lunch spot -wraps salads /omelettes /toasties in airy room plus outside tables looking over waterfall and pool . All of these outlets are staffed by very friendly well trained staff as is the smallish swiming pool looking out over the sea with comfortable loungers to take advantage of both weather and view
This is really a special place if you like doing nothing in beautiful surroundings !There is shuttle to Camps Bay and Waterfront in Capetown .
From the moment we walked in, our anniversary celebration felt magical. The welcoming from Natasha was so heartwarming — you immediately feel valued, comfortable, and special.
We had an early booking, we were treated to complimentary snacks before our session, which was such a thoughtful touch. The clothing provided was soft and comfortable, and everything was so aesthetically pleasing, every detail was beautifully done.
Our therapists, Taryn and Buyiswa, truly have magic hands. The 60-minute massage was absolute bliss — every bit of tension just melted away. Beyond their incredible skill, their welcoming nature and humbleness are truly out of the ordinary. They made us feel so relaxed, cared for, and completely at ease. You can feel the passion they have for what they do.
The romance in the rasul area was perfectly done, the ambiance, the lighting, the intimate setting… everything was flawless. It made our anniversary so special and unforgettable.
We are already planning our next visit!
I rate this experience 100 out of 10. Highly recommended! 🤍✨
I celebrated my birthday at the twelve apostles hotel and spa last year on 12th August and was absolutely spoiled. The stuff went above and beyond to make my day special. I had a chopper ride which the hotel organized for me. I truly felt special and celebrated it was an experience I’ll always cherish .the service was exceptional. Stunning views and unforgettable hospitality. I highly recommend.

マウンテンビューで予約しましたが、ここは期待外れでした
We stayed in the Twelve Apostles for a couple of nights in January.
We are lucky enough to travel a lot and we have stayed in amazing hotels and resorts.
And this hotel was amazing and would l would definitely highly recommend a visit .
Staff , rooms , attention to detail and an amazing atmosphere with a location and view that will blow any person away !
There is not one negative comment I would make about this gorgeous hotel and team .
The Hospitality, The Views, The Music and the food was excellent
I loved everything
Hermosa vista, pero muy lejos.
Desayuno espectacular
Jammer. Wij keren niet meer terug.
I visited the Twelve Apostles Spa yesterday with a friend, and it was truly one of the most amazing spa experiences I’ve ever had.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sharnay, whose beautiful smile immediately made us feel at ease. She escorted us to the waiting area where we could help ourselves to delicious nibbles, still or sparkling water, and even rooibos tea — such a lovely touch on arrival.
We were then shown to the pools, where we had an absolutely incredible time. The peace and tranquillity of this place is unmatched. The moment you step in, you feel calm — the atmosphere alone is healing.
I would also like to acknowledge Amanda, who went above and beyond. After the pools, she noticed that our gowns were wet and kindly offered us fresh gowns and slippers. That level of attentiveness and care really stood out.
The ladies’ changing rooms were absolutely beautiful and exceptionally well equipped — from a Parlux hairdryer and GHD to thoughtful essentials like tampons. Everything you could possibly need was provided, which made the experience even more comfortable.
Thereafter, we enjoyed our Rasul treatment, which was simply amazing. With champagne in hand, we got to apply different moisturisers and body scrubs — such a relaxing and indulgent experience.
We ended off with a hot stone massage by Misa and Deslynn, and I can honestly say it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. They were incredibly professional, applied the perfect amount of pressure, and made the entire experience unforgettable.
I will definitely be recommending the Twelve Apostles Spa, and I truly hope to return again soon. A world-class experience from start to finish.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
