Wonderful staff. Location is very good and the rooms were very comfortable. Great stay!
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Location was great. Short walks to the transport area and close to so many amazing sites. Staff were very friendly. Beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was good - perhaps a little more variety turn-around - ie different choices

Добро хотелче, но подлежи на ремонт
Cons:

хотелчето е на много обро място за туристически обиколки на Истанбул, чисто е, но трбява да бъде ремонтирано. Има странности-в ресторанта за закуска по пода има бели ховлиени кърпи. В една от стаите, които ни бяха дали под радиатора имаше бяла хавлиена кърпа, защото тече. Пердетата сигурно са много стари, защото целите са на дупки.

price-quality ratio is perfect. near Blue Mosque, near a small Bazaar, a lot of fish and kebab restaurants. Staff very friendly, breakfast included, room is tidy, cleaned everyday, parking in front of hotel (if there is space).

Cons:

got some towels one day...i think Jesus used them also. The mini-fridge in the room is semi-useless. From the bathroom came a stale smell sometimes.

But at the price i payed, it really doesn't matter.

Nice staff room could have been better.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely lovely brilliant had no issues with them they were vey helpful and also smiling. Location was good too just a short walk to the Blue mosque and tram station.

Cons:

The room could have been better we had 2 bathrooms one was bad with limescale on the shower head and the shower door not closing proper as well as it coming out of the hinges when trying to close it. There was tape floor where the connecting door for the room was and it also had a crack in it.

Было очень холодно. Когда заселились в номер, то сотрудник включи кондиционер для обогрева, но он совершенно не грел, а делал только хуже. Хорошо, что я сам догадался, где и как можно включить батарею. В общем, в холодное время года лучше сюда не ехать.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at Hotel Tashkonak during our time in Istanbul. The place was remarkably clean, absolutely spotless from top to bottom. Above all, the staff was perfect in everything, constantly going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommended

Pros:

Location is excellent, ambient is typical for Turkey, staff is extra kind and helpful, you will enjoy for sure! This is our second stay in Tashkonak, and will be back!
